A fun fact: A young Siniša Mihajlović played in that Red Star team. Younger folks don't remember, but he was a defender with a lethal left foot for a freekick, and one of the best freekick takers of the 90's, and a true badass of the game in his day. Now, the manager of Bologna, he's been at work, even when diagnosed with cancer twice. I think he's a mad story that you can look into for a video subject.

Yeah he passed away last year, you should see his funural to see how loved and respected in Italy, even Meloni new italian PM came, entire delegations of many clubs also many ultras groups were there, best FK taker in italian league history, only guy that scored a Hat-Trick from FKs, also fun fact he played as left-winger in Red Star then moved to CB by Ericksson in Lazio

Red Star Belgrade are one of my favourite respective Serbian clubs daily and ever in this world and other planets but I was extremely so angry to see their cup triumph being overlooked as though,they are not a real footballing club to watch!!!I have been and must continuously praise them daily and ever in this world and other planets,good friends!!!They won the title two years before I was born and they have one of the most vocal respective supporters which easily can create a footballing atmosphere at their stadium,good friends!!!LONG LIVE,RED STAR BELGRADE!!!🇷🇸

We were close several times of winnining the Cup or atleast play in the finals but we always had very attacking football philosophy which we think cost us dearly, i urge you both to see this video, it is British made on how Liverpool adopted Red Star football philosophy and style of playing when we beat them in both legs back in 1973 and their famous manager Paisley said this is the future and we must adopt it if we want to compete with european clubs, they won 3 european cups in next 5 years which is incredible, also theres videos on YT from thos 2 games in 73' so you can see what incredible football RS played and as said in comments it was tika-taka football 40 yrs before Barcelona's style, also we had great march with Man Utd in 1991 Super Cup, we as CL winners and them as Uefa Cup winners, as war in Yugoslavia started Man Utd wanted that game played outside of Yugo but we said no problem we can play only one in Manchester, Sir Alex and all the Man U fans that watched that game mentions RS as team that dominated them most by any team ever at Old Trafford, Sir Alex said that RS should've leading 4 or 5-0 at the half, Savicevic had masterfil performance that you can see his higlights on YT and as some Man U fans said Paul Ince spent more time on his arse then standing up lol sorry for this novel of comment but u hope its interesting a bit, so i will post video of that Liverpool adopting RS style which is btw done before our game in CL which Red Star won 2-0 in 2018 and Reds won the CL that year and i will post BBC Live Commentary from that game so that you can hear them commenting on crazy atmosphere and the game, its not long video btw all the best to both of you from Belgrade kzbin.info/www/bejne/gYHGhayDedibepI kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z3KQoKp-bbSHrck Edit: If you guys watch this 2 videos i would love if you can make comment on what you think, tnx guys
