I agree with your comment. The sad part is that that there actually are women (usually SJWs) that really do go 'I can't relate to that character because it doesn't have a vagina'. (In most cases I see this where there is a discussion about video games and the gender of the player character. Some women stating that they refuse to play a game, even if they consider the premise of the game somewhat interesting, simply because they can't play a female). And since they're always loud about their opinios they make all women look like these strange creatures that lack empathy and the skill to put themselves in the shoes of others. While in reality all humans have this ability with maybe the exception of psychopaths.

They think strength comes from gender and not overcoming what life throws at you.

@theman80344 жыл бұрын
Preston Schwann Captain Marvel was better written in her solo than Rey was in 3 films though. Captain marvel had a bit of shallow arc in her film, still pretty crappy, but, you can see there was something there if they explored it some more. I think most of agenda crap came from the marketing and the dumb lead actress than it did from the actual film. Feige bringing in a whole new creative team for the second movie tells me he wants a new energy for the character, he actually listens to criticisms from fans.

Star Wars, focus on the word WARS. How the hell can any show that focuses on war and fighting be female centric? I LOVED BUFFY the vampire slayer, and slayer mythology (though later seasons tried to cash in way too much from fake feminism). That show was pretty much full of female leads and had female superhero. Taking something like Star Wars, and perverting it to become female centric is sickening. While Buffy was superior in fighting, she said that her feelings and emotions are her assets. She used her femininity and it separated her from the other slayers and made her so successful. And Buffy used the whole superhero/monster thing as allegory for growing up, and it was completely obvious. That's why it worked. Female heros need to fight with female methods. They can be amazing at physical fighting also, but trying to convey us that some female is physically capable of winning against all men in just idiotic. Terminator had one of the most powerful female hero of all time. She was realistic, had flaws as one would in Sarah Connor's situation, and thus we could identify with her. She fought to save her child, allegory of the most important feminine heroism. She almost lost her own humanity/femininity in the process, but her son allowed her to gain it back and that is the reason they actually won. As killing Dyson would have made destroying the Cyberdyne systems almost impossible. Dark fate again destroyed the mythos and made it female centric and actually destroyed the superb female hero that was Sarah Connor. It introduced completely illogical immigration politics and androgynous female "hero" part human part machine, the fantasy of the technocratic elites. Ripley from Alien, just amazing female hero. In Alien and in Terminator 1 & 2 we are show superb heroes that just happen to be females, and happen to be written reaaally good. Focusing on the fact that they are FEMALE heros would have phucked up those movies. Doctor Who, again, raped in the name of agenda. Changing the sex made no sense, changed the mythos and retroactively changed the whole run on the show as now we are forced to think all the doctors as not having gender. Would woman in the role of Rambo be a hero? No, she would be an abomination. Men and women are so completely different animals in general, and it's not cultural thing, it's physiological and metaphysical. Our brains operate differently, we have different hormones, and even the cultural aspects cannot be changed. It's the males that try to impress and get the females in all of nature, thus females have most of the natural powers and thus they don't need to accumulate other kinds of powers to impress a man, it's metaphysical fact and cannot be changed. But you sure as hell can cause huge amount of misery and chaos in the society by trying to change that. And nothing brings more benefits for the controlling elites than chaos and misery.
@juzujuzu45554 жыл бұрын
@jigyoda You don't agree on some of the points, or is my writing skills in English poor or what? As 100% of your comment makes no sense without further explanation.
@juzujuzu45554 жыл бұрын
@jigyoda Buffy is mostly allegory about growing up. While she beats up monsters, she is still feminine young woman who makes mistakes and lives mostly a normal life so the allegories would work. These TV shows and movies are not realistic, but the women in them are somewhat realistic given that kind of situation. And I have to admit, I'm not expert on Alien, but Terminator's metaphysical content and allegories are pretty clear and work great, in T1 and T2 only though. Rambo is supposed to be realistic. He is just an experienced fighter. Of course it's not realistic in different sense. But given that Rambo would be a female, it would be completely off. Or at least woman that would have had life like Rambo would be unrecognizable as female, and there would be no reason gender swap if that doesn't bring anything to the table and instead just makes a woman play a male character. Though I would really like to see woman in a movie where she have had believable backstory that makes sense, and then be real badass. But it would be completely different movie. Though it could actually be much better movie as it requires better more innovative script to work.
@robertagren93604 жыл бұрын
Unless she's lesbian, then there's a war to fight for
@juzujuzu45554 жыл бұрын
@jigyoda Backstory does have to make sense from the point of the universe that the film or TV series is presented. So that depends largely on the universe, and if that universe makes sense to us or not. Terminator, Alien, Buffy, Lord of the Rings, all are unrealistic but have great universe and the stories make sense in that universe. Rambo etc. require somewhat believable backstory based on our actual universe, as it's supposed to be real in our universe. Things like unbelievable good luck etc. are OK up to certain point, and where that point lies is up to opinions. It's hard to explain more thoroughly through youtube comments, but I hope this makes sense.

John Campea is a dork. I’ve never really enjoyed his content much. He’s always come off to me as you either agree with him on whatever his thoughts on a film are or you can go to hell. Kind of a reason I just tuned him out over the years.
@2337baxter4 жыл бұрын
I totally agree with that woman! Don’t say female-centric. Sick of bs. Magic Rey was an atrocious character. I just discovered Clone Wars and YES, season 7 has some forced representation problems, but Ahsoka bs Maul was damn good. Why in the heck did we not make the Ahsoka saga and bleed her into sequel trilogy somehow. She would have been an old woman who could have trained Rey. That would have been cool! And we needed a real villain. Driver’s a great actor but does not work as villain. Maybe just go EU and he’s Rey’s sister. Rey is Han and Leia’s daughter. It would have made so much more sense. And killing Han is fine, but only if he goes kamikaze with the Falcon. Absurd.

Imagine Hollywood coming to Campea’s wife and saying “hey, we’re gonna make an Asian-centric movie for you. We don’t have story details but it’s Asian-centric so we know you’ll like it”. Doubt Campea would be defending it then

@@ChildishGambeaner you have a right to your opinion. She called Campa out in public. 3:22 That woman makes a great point, because its true remember back when the Mandalorian series was first announced. There was none of this "oh we're working on this Male-led show", John Favreau and Dave Filloni never talked like that. So WHY has this woman Leslye Headland came out with this and chose the specific words she chose!? "Female-centric Star Wars show and theres gonna be Kung-fu in it." Lol the Woman even talks like she knows zip about Star Wars. Star Wars has acrobatics, plenty of action, some levels or martial arts in it, if you're focusing on elements of "Jedi" and "Sith" in there, yes it has all that. BUT Star Wars is way more than just those things! I believe this woman who ive never heard of before until now with this rumor popping up, this woman Leslye Headland, i believe she is not even a Star Wars fan, but just simply has a agenda that she wants to push, shes came out the wood-work shooting her head off and the "Bobs" at Disney are not happy with what shes saying because she actually has no final say over what projects go forward at Lucasfilm, so they're like why is this woman even saying this stuff. Also cause it risks loosing the good favor they have gained from the success of The Mandalorian, quite literally the ONLY positive Star Wars project to come out of Lucasfilm since Rogue One. And now they have this woman spouting all this agenda talk, which could put many fans off. People dont want agenda, and politics forced into the Star Wars brand, they just want compelling stories crafted and put onto the big or small screen.
