Born in 1982 and 1983 respectively, they're only one year apart in age. so in that way, they very much are of the same generation. (close to my age as well!) as you observed, though, neither age nor time spent in the industry affects how Chulie talks to or about someone. he's just that kind of person. I believe he can get away with it in the comedy arena because he's _such_ a good person at heart that no one who actually knows him face-to-face takes real offense. and it helps that he is genuinely one of the funniest, wittiest, smartest people in Korean entertainment; if you're the butt of one of his jokes, you're probably laughing right along with everyone else. I'd pay to be dissed by Heechul. of course he's not scared to be a serious critic of others' actions as well (and it's just one more thing I love about him). but that's another story.
