In all the years I've watched Simon Cowell's "Got Talent" shows, I've never heard a more beautiful voice or seen a more sincere and humble performer than "school worker," Richard Goodall. He is special and touched many hearts. What is hidden in these shows is the genius and kindness of Simon Cowell who works hard to orchestrate and organize the whole panorama. When I see hundreds of spectators rise to their feet, some with tears of joy and appreciation on their cheeks, clapping for the greatness of someone else(!), I cannot measure the humanitarian good that Cowell has done in making thousands of "others" happy and successful. Mahalo (Hawaiian for 'thank you.')

School janitors are not people who just clean floors. Our primary school janitor is a mechanic/electrician/gardener/painter/glazier/ plumber and a lot more trades.

Well, my school janitor was "just" a janitor whose only duties were to sweep the floors and keep the locker rooms in order, but he was also the most beloved person in the whole school and the only one who knew how to keep the bunch of juvenile babboons that we were from wreaking too much havoc - none of us wanted to see him looking at us with disappointment 😂

@@dyan1965 - Somehow I truly believe that the money was not the first thing on Richard's mind. He wanted to sing; he loves to sing. I can tell that he did a lot of soul-searching and courage-building to get up the nerve to come on the show, and I think what he's leaving with is a LOT of clapping and cheering ringing in his ears, and the genuinely beautiful comments he got from the judges. He didn't really believe he could move an audience like that. He was looking forward just to hearing four "yes's" and genuinely was stunned when the gold started raining down on him. I hope doors open wide for him - and I hope the first thing he records is "Don't Stop Believin'". I've saved this audition to listen to whenever I get feeling down. This is my new "happy place" song!! Stunning - absolutely phenomenal. And such a beautiful character inside as well. Richard - "DON'T - EVER - STOP BELIEVING!"

Fantastic. Kids do need people like this in there life. Its not just being teacher in the sense of giving them knowledge its about teaching them life. I sometimes think I missed my true vocation in life and should have gone into teaching although I did train many engineering apprentices along the way. It was not until I was about twenty that some of the old boys that I played hockey with opened my eyes and mind which I am so grateful for as I think it made me a better father. Keep up the good work you guys
