This is great work. Though in terms of minor technicality of sheet music convention I have the following to say: To be fair- this could have been (and probably should be) marked espressivo as opposed to rubato- this really isn't "robbing" time in the sense of a strict rubato but rather what we're really doing here is applying loure and tenuto articulation in certain places for expression. Also, if we're in 4/4, 2/4 or alla breve, where you have a bar of 3/4 and a bar of 2/4 it is usually written as a single bar of 5/4 if we're going to return to the original meter within the same phrase or within several bars - this way we only have to change the meter once as opposed to twice.

Thank you! Fair enough. This was one of the ones that I took pretty much right from a sheet music book. When I do that, I'll notate any differences that I personally did in my playing of it, but I typically don't touch meters or anything and just trust that the original publisher got it right.
