Right now the Warriors are stuck at home watching the playoffs after getting bounced in the play in and it feels like they are a long way from contending again. Steph is still one of the best players in the league, but father time has definitely caught up to Klay and Draymond. But at the same time we thought this only a few years ago and the Warriors proved us completely wrong. Today we look back at when Steph Curry took over the 2022 NBA final.

Former warrior hater here since the 3-1 comeback, this series really changed my entire view on the warriors and curry. This championship just felt more real and well earned for them, and it really made me admire and respect curry now after years of hating their chokehold run in the nba especially the KD years I still root against them here and now since I got accustomed to it for almost a decade but its not the same anymore like back then...all thanks to this 2022 championship

Real ones watch this one for the second time today. Also yeah, Steph was on some bs during the finals absolutely, massive games 4-6. Depressing to see how it is ending specifically because of issues not necessarily related to Basketball, looking at Dray, and Poole feeling himself too much. But 2022 will forever be remembered as the chip where Steph cemented his case as arguably one of Top 5 player this game has ever seen.

Remember that All Star starters aren't selected solely by the fans anymore. It's decided by 50% fan vote, 25% media vote, and 25% player vote. They changed it a number of years ago (just so happened that the first year with this new formula was the year a sole fan vote would've had like Zaza Pachulia as a starter, so very good timing on the change). So even media & other players felt Wiggins was deserving of an All Star start in 2022. No, I'm not a Warriors fan, just getting a few things straightened out.

I still remember the 2022 playoffs was my first time watching the NBA since the bubble and I hadn’t kept up with it at all basically and I was at work with my friend we were doing very minor research on the current NBA and he asked who I had and I said I think the Warriors will win the West I thought they’re experience would carry them through the West, and I said the Celtics would win the East since no team looked like they could beat a Celtics team with a DPOY and 2 All Stars and I said the Warriors would win in 6, now did I know Klay was kinda washed back then? No not did I know anything about Poole I just trusted Steph and it played out
