What are the tasks that you would suggest a person should learn first? For me it's how to check tire pressure and how to add air, also where to find the recommended psi for your tires. Easy but important.

During C vid I worked as a graveyard manager at a truck stop. At least four or five times in the first year girls would come in having their car towed in across the street by a mechanic and they had simply ran out of gas. They didn't know this but I knew the chances were pretty good. I would tell them that I would go across the street and fix their car for $200 in 10 minutes. I kept a 5-gallon gas can in the back of my truck along with some tools and just went over and looked at the car for 5 minutes and then filled it up and drove it over. Easy money

My Grandad was able to strip a car engine down and modify his own car etc etc With no formal training that I'm aware off. And put it back together again. I wish i learnt from him in that respect. Whilst he was still alive. But remarkably I've started teaching myself, and it seems to come naturally doing the basics and abit more. Saves alot of money in the the long run. If you keep learning, knowledge is power.

I worked at a gas station years ago. Many people from Oregon didn't know how to pump their fuel. In Oregon it is illegal to pump your own fuel. So some people have never done it and they ask how to use the pump or exons to go outside and do it for them

5:09 the girl changing the oil I don't see a problem with that, she's showing what it's like the first time, and that can be messy, she'll get better as she does it stop for more times. There was no caption of I Don't need No Man or anything, it's just showing that yes you can do it too. I think it's great I used to change my own oil long ago, and about the first five or six times that I did it when I was 16 to 19 years old I never changed the oil filter because nobody showed me how to change the oil I just did it and didn't even know about changing the oil filter. I was about 24 when I went in and bought the oil to do an oil change and the guy behind the counter said did you need an oil filter too? And I was like "a what?" I felt really stupid but since then, well since then I've always gotten it changed at a garage or oil change facility. Most of these are I don't need no damn man or anything like that but this particular one, I said good on you girl.

The fact she was putting a mask on to go outside of the car showed us all a level of stupidity rarely seen. Now the one doing the oil change was just fine. Long as she had a oil pan down catching the old oil she was doing fine. It’s a messy job no matter who does it. I change my oil and filter myself. It’s a lot better than having some shoo charge you a ridiculous price and trusting that they out the filter on tight and enough oil and not too much oil which can be just as bad as not enough. I have no problem with that chic. She was doing just fine.

To be fair in the clip where the woman didn't know how to pump gas, I know in Oregon they passed a law making it so something over 95% of the state had to hire people to pump gas for you at the gas stations in order to stimulate the economy so nobody was pumping their own gas or has pump their own gas for a very long time and it literally caused a large part of the population not knowing how to pump gas. I lived right across the Oregon line in Washington for a little while and I mean like right on the border I was in the Portland metro area but in Vancouver Washington so oftentimes people from Oregon would be in Washington at a gas station and I would see many of them not know what the hell to do when they were out of the gas pump.
