When I was a rookie officer I had to fight a suspect over his firearm and I was shot in the stomach with a Rohm .22 caliber short. It hurt like heck for a small caliber. exactly the problem. Officers risk their lives so the politicians (including judges) can just dismiss everything. Until that gets fixed, crimes are just going to continue to escalate. Let's start sentencing for the max. And no more plea deals; prosecutor's are too lazy to solidify a case.

I slowed Jahmal Parker’s quick grab down to 0.1 speed, and then reviewed it several times. At this reduced viewing speed most human movement looks very slow, as it should. But damn, Jahmal’s ‘snatch & grab’ looks like it’s playing at a normal frame rate. Dude’s a speed demon, even after driving off of a bridge and with a ‘bump’ on his head!

In that first one, I was reminded of my lifeguard training. We had a bruiser of an instructor acting as our "victim". When he wrapped me up from behind, I got a hold of his pinky and ring finger and was on my way to breaking them before he yelled "OKAY, OKAY!" and let me loose. You bend those two in directions they weren't meant to go and that pain gets your attention. Right up there with hitting your pinky toe on a coffee table leg.

Schizophrenia is not a free pass to abuse people, animals, commit crimes and especially not our First responders and officers.
@miyah92216 ай бұрын
It’s not an excuse at all. But I wish the American police would give more training on how to deal with someone who is experiencing a psychosis episode even in deadly situations. Its very tricky on how to properly deal with a diagnosed “maniac” when they’re threatening deadly force especially when your life is in danger, I wouldn’t know where to begin. But that officer had approached that man in an aggressive manner when the man was already in an agitated state.

schizophrenia is a series condition that causes people to do some incredibly bad things, having an episode must be an absolute nightmare to go through, it’s not a “free pass” but it should always be taken into consideration when sentencing is handed out
