As far as I know we haven't seen any or at least we haven't seen one that has changed the course of the market right now! If demand is low I'd imagine they either won't do one or would defer till a later date?

When new sets come out I buy some of what are my favorite arts of that set or what I think may be the top card. Temporal forces for example I bought a few Marty's conviction and Bianca. Basically try and guess what may be a big card in a few years. Love your content Papa!

There will be for sure a correction on boxes and singles, and while there will be gains it won't be as much as people think as there are way more people sitting on investment product than before, so the private market will not dry up for some time like it did before meaning previous data is not as reliable. I won't be surprised if a few sleeper sets overtake these in the coming years.

The booster boxes will plateau and people will get scared and drop prices. I think $200 for CR, LO and BS could happen for a few months before going back up. So many people sitting on boxes that gotta pay bills too.

Pulled a charizard ex from 151. It was literally stuck to the card in front of it and almost put it in my bulk pile, until I noticed last second. Then I see the back of the charizard(the side that wasnt stuck to another card) and it was scratched a bit. I'm glad I pulled it but c'mon Pokemon Company..really...

Agree with Pokemon Center ETB for a long term hold. They are going to be the only affordable way to open a nice amount of older set for a reasonable price with a nice box to display. When the set has aged and the booster boxes are well into the hundreds. I feel the books induced in ETB’s are underrated as well. There is something cool about seeing a whole older set that most likely you’ll never be able to pull printed in one spot.

somewhat reluctant to buy at the same rate after swsh is gone vs looking elsewhere for returns, s8v is good because of a magikarp so far and even then it really is the equivalent of a trainer gallery, they did Shinji dirty on that. il only be buying if they do us up a boomer set with nice gen 1/2 sirs

I’ll always add the “chase” trainer in too so that’s an awesome call out! I don’t expect S&M type numbers out of the SW&SH trainers but I think an epic one with awesome art will easily land in the top 10 of most sets!! Good call out!!

Hey, im someone with the goal to collect every full art Glara trainer in Sword and Shield. I'm so close to getting all of them. I have most of the expensive ones. But it's unclear about the value for them sicne on market price thier kinda cheap but many like me are willing to pay anything for them. And with these sets, now sold out. Do you know if the value for Glara trainer are gonna be valued cards in the future?? TYSM

What an awesome question!! I think a lot of the focus will be on Alt Arts and TG cards for the foreseeable future but you never know what parts of the hobby will get hot! Like you said, the people that want them will pay just about anything for them and that's always a GREAT sign!!! Not to mention it will be a really cool group to collect with some awesome art so kudos for that!!
