This is a great vid! One of the strange things I've found is that yes, there is a war with the ETGs that started, but there were spots in '90-'91 that there was a passing tolerance and then it would start up again. This was very much an off and on war, almost like two siblings going back and forth.

I grew up in LA around all this and hearing about the names and conflicts. From 1980 up until around 98 LA was a crazy place the city finally calmed down in 98 at least real gang banging really died out around that time ,most LA hoods are gentrified or too ran down nobody around people moving out and most important nobody speak about how it was a generational thing family members friends people who know each other from different sets going at it most are dead ,moved or locked up .

You ain’t lying. I’m not from LA at all but both my parents are and would send my siblings and I down there every summer from 91-2002. I remember coming there right after the 92 riots right after I turned 7. That driver that got yanked out the truck was two blocks from my grandmothers house. And my other granny lived off 41st Pl between Hoover and Fig. Over there it was some real wild shit. Then we’d go back to our parents and start school on a military base like nothing happened 😂.

The part about the HomeBoy Criminals becoming Hoover Criminals, maybe that might be true, BUT ON THE STREET, they didn't associate with the Hoovers because they were too far west, right in the middle of Marvin Gangsta Crip's area. The HomeBoys Criminals ended up turning into and becoming Marvin Gangsta Crips/MGC3X. I know it has been said the Homeboys were or became Hoover Criminals because they claimed "criminals", but part of the reason why they claimed "criminals" is because they had members that were affiliated with Inglewood Family, R20's NHB, and I knew one of them that had affiliations with and actually claimed 8Trey Gangsta Crip. Some of the original founding members of HBCG were originally little PlayBoy Gangstas that called themselves Corning Street Posse/CSP back in 1986-87, so I don't know where the affiliation to Hoover Criminals came from.

Now it makes since to see the connection between Hoover and Insane. In the late 90’s a gang of Hoover niggaz start popping up in Long Beach. Niggaz was wearing orange and black. Then come to find out. These dudes was claiming a click called Hoosane. I guess in Long Beach Insane don’t get along with nobody, just like Hoovers in LA. I always thought like, what kinda connection is that. When both hoods are so far apart. LA niggaz barely go to Long Beach. And vise versa. But now I see. The connection comes from in the jail.

Hoosane Alliance dates back to the Late-80s. Maybe Earlier. A Family of 9-0s moved to Long Beach in the mid-80s and clashed with the Insanes. Someone from Insane is r.i.p behind all that. Thats Why Tray Dee the Rapper has 90-Killa tattood on his forearm. Back then, Hoovers were beefing heavy with the 9-0s.
