When I started playing this game 8 years ago, playing tier 7s and seeing a spotted Jgtiger aiming at me, would almost aways made me shit my pants. Now there is no fear factor even for a T95

My experience from yesterday's session is this: Your ally may be your worst enemy, pushing, covering, blocking, etc. For this 1:15 type game most of the time. Today's WOT is a brutal experience. Not to mention that Rng and lag drive you crazy.

I loved the JT back in the day. Then gold ammo became available for credits which made the JT's armor completely useless :( Also I believe back then 560 was still the second highest alpha after 750, and everything with 750 reloaded almost twice as long, which gave the JT extremely nice dpm. Damn these were good times

I actually think that this tank and it's tier 10 are good despite the gold spam. Since everyone is using gold rounds this means tanks with more health are better and these tanks have more health than other TDs and use gold rounds better than other TDs. Couple Thier high health and damage and not many tanks can trade effectively with them. Like for some reason the JPZ E-100 pen jumps all the way up to 420 pen with gold rounds. Giving it the highest pen out of all TDs.

3rd battle is so typical nowadays for encounters, especially on Prokhorovka for southern teams..... ignore the hill and the cap in village and have a bbq in H2. a shame when even the fast mediums and the top tier heavies join the usual party of the triangles

I think the reason why the games are so unstable these days is that the schools are on vacation. There are many children, newbies, and troll players. In addition, it is quite possible to see at least one person manipulating the game in almost every game. In fact, in almost every match, I am noticing many players who leave the game at a certain place and stay afk. this is not bearable. The game losing its playability. At least you have players. Try Asia server on workday. (Mon-Fri) If anyone accuse me of sealclubbing on Tier 4 and below in this server, I'd just tell them that good luck finding people on Tier 5 and above on any workday night 2 - 3 hours before the daily mission reset. You're lucky if the matchmaker gives you a game before 5 minutes search time limit when playing above Tier 5. That should be a good indicator of how many players are on this server during said period when you have to drop down to Tier 4 and below so bots could fill the spots and let you complete at least some dailies instead of keep waiting ad infinitum and then goes to bed.

​@@machaiping Wtf? 2-3 hours before reset is the prime time for ASIA, it's around 10k players even in weekday and you'll get instant matchmaking at that time. You can even still play in like 5 hours after reset and still get matches even with a bit longer queue time. Pretty sure either you are playing in Australia cluster and mislabelled it as ASIA, or you don't even realize that you are in Australia. Press escape in the lobby and switch to HK server.

When you are shooting down those walls at 2:10 you can shoot into the joint between two pieces of the wall to knock down them both with 1 shell.

Hey Skill. It used to be that by changing server or changing tier you got better gameplay, but not any more. The teams are designed to give fast victory/defeat to one team so you can't farm, and you spend more credits faster, without return. It is designed that way. The only solution is to play preferential matching tanks at low tier to get a decent match. I play the German premium B1, the KV220, or such at the end of my short session to get one decent game. It is the same in World of Warships. You win, you get low damage... you get high damage you lose. It's rigged, 100%.

Standard prok encounter battle lol. + Whenever the enemy team has complete control over the east side of the map (both hills, heavys playing hulldown in the railway tracks, etc) it's pretty much impossible to retake.

I cnt even make it to their 10 the their 9 are so expensive to play plus you have to grind 56000 xp for the their 9 top gun which requires atleast 100 games meaning I've got to spend a huge amm of creds so I'm currently at 5 k battles and 5 tank lines grinded to their 8 teirs and teir 9 researched I don't know what to do

@@HAra-fw8ds I recommend playing a lot of Tier 6-8. Don't feel pressured to grind fast to Tier 10. Easier to make credits in the middle tiers, plus you have more time to learn the maps. I have over 27k battles and I have played Tier 6 more than any other tier.

Regarding matchmaking: I feel like something questionable happened during the last Holiday Ops or possibly right after the player migration from RUBY region to EU servers. WarGaming broke something in the mm algorithm and haven't either noticed, never fixed it or didn't even bother. I started playing this game at the start of February last year. I remember matches lasting longer on average but blowout matches were a thing too . In the recent months of actively playing, most matches that aren't over in 4 minutes are plagued with A B S U R D amount of camping strategies where you can clearly see the starting tactics of playing is to sit in a single spot on the map (mostly on the redline) and wait until something happens. Even more experienced and better players than me are not taking basic positions or fighting for initiative. Really can't see myself playing this game actively if this matchmaking stays the same or its' conditions worsen.

yes, it looked different some time ago, but campers have been a problem not only in the last month. So the "camping" is not a problem of the matchmaking, at least not when we talk on top tier heavies and mediums. this is a players topic, but one can ask "why do they do this?". there are multiple answers to this question, some related to the game and not to the players like - the strength of the tanks when you compare them on different maps - like compare BZ176 to VK4502a... - the first point even pushed by +2MM - to many TD's in most battles - map design or changes to older maps - Airfield was the worst change in my opinion (a change to heavy lane was needed, but what they did .. oh boy) the game points make the player to be campers, but not always ... see 3rd battle in video... it is just stupid as "a team" to ignore hill and village in encounter battle and having bbq on 2-line as southern team did. even the middle was not strong or lacked support as players at bbq just have been to far away

NGL, I low key love the Jagdtiger. That gun is just awesome, and the armor can *kinda* work if you hide the hull and wedge it up so the superstructure is angled back. One of my highest damage games ever was in the JT on the hill on Malinovka, spamming gold at heavies. I was alone vs. two one-shots at the end, with 6800 damage. It could have been a come from behind win (possibly a Kolobanov’s-I don’t remember for sure now) but the JT was too slow. It was a draw. 😢

I quickly learned to like this tank, but it’s heavily dependent on matchmaking and map. On larger maps, I tended to keep a distance and use the guns accuracy to punch people in the face and your armor is more reliable at long distance. City Mabs unfortunately, you usually have to fight face to face so learning how to angle your armor like an E 100 is important but you’re just a big juicy meatball so you have to be patient.

My favourite and one of my best tanks to play But it's extremely hard to play if you don't know what to do with it Currently on 86,09% moe and was already at 90% but got a few very bad days. And I mean VERY bad days. Which made me pause Jagdtiger moe for now It's armour is underrrated. I mean it's butter, but hard butter. You bounce a lot of shots of which you thought they should have penetrated your armor. And and certain maps like monastery or city maps a single Jagdtiger can hold a flank if you're against only tier 9 or lower. The best thing is it's hp. Whenever you are forced to trade shots in the end you get a lot of free damage because of your insane hp and fast reload with 560 alpha. Oh and the penetration on gold armor is higher than that of Grille15. Unfortunately no HEAT but I think APCR isn't as bad for the Jagdtiger as it would be for other tanks. With pink or purple turbocharger it even has some good speed (I just love my racecar Jagdtiger) and I think it's better than JagdE100 in every way Just like Waffle and Grille

My winrate with the jagdtiger is 33% because of 15-1 simulator. If I go in front I die, If enemy's make a lot of pressure and my team dies I die as well after. It's a situational but ok tank. Oh and the gun. It's very nice!

I have 58% in this tank, i use gun rammer, grousers, turbo. I do around 2500 combined each game. It's not the games fault you lose. When using your armor you have to go hull down, and when you're against higher tier tanks you should camp more because you have no chance against them.

@@1dealace im using hardening, rammer and vents. The problem with hull down is that they can still pen you if they load gold. Camping is pretty much the only option and when your team is losing there is nothing you can do except get as much damage while you still can. I guess the jagdtiger also suffers a bit from being a non turreted td.

Somehow i liked it more than Jg.Pz. E100 and talking about the WR i'm getting 60-80% for 2-3 days and then 20-45% WR for 7-10 days... That's why i'm stuck on 53% WR 2 years already... to be exact i'm jumping from 53.08% up to 53.16% WR... RNG +-25% is the key reason why there is 15-0/15-5 battles... And not the noobs that is in your team. For example i'm little bit better than the average player and i should have 56-58% WR but sometimes RNG just saying nah not today or to be correct NAH NOT THIS WEEK...😤

@@laszlopap8271 Dude 8 years back correct me if i'm wrong there was no gold ammo for the credits... 8+ years back 1 hit out of 10 was with premium and now almost non stop gold ammo fiesta as it's for credits... + let's not forget that about 6 years back there was only about 500-550 tanks now there is 746+ tanks... let's not forget about some re balancing and that's WHY TH RNG +-25% is TOTALLY DIFFERENT THAN It was before even knowing the fact it's still +-25%. Like a good old days eewhen most of the battles were 15-12/15-14 and 10-15min duration.

@@davidaio1019 Small correction, average game time has almost always been accessible, in early days games were shorter than now, currently average game is at 7 min and 17 seconds. Early days just a bit under 7 min. There is no official data for 15:0 games, only what some players have collected, but indeed one sided games have increased, but not by that much. A lot of things are only happening in players head, for last years most CCs have been complaining about turbo games, games are getting faster and faster and blah blah blah, you dont hear that recently, you know why? Because tomatogg, released detailed map statistics and if anything games are getting longer every year.

@@durachoks in my opinion, you are completely wrong. WG does not care in the least whether their matchmaker is a 15:1 simulator or not, as long as people by premium. How can one make buy premium? By making them believe they get a substantial advantage when buying premium. I do not feel they do. The are just getting bent over and screwed. What do you expect will happen, when WG throws tomatoes at superfluffyunicums? Even if they balanced the team experience/skill (what the do not, and I will prove shortly), one unicum wins over the one of the other team by chance. The remaining unicum will basically just whack through the enemy team. And I cannot remember not having had to compete against 55 %WR + being 48 % WR tomato. About your assumption that balanced matchmaking would take several minutes and everyone would cry about. As I am not everyone, I would not cry? Why should I? To wait 3 minutes for a tight and compelling battle compares quite good to waiting 30 seconds for a 4 minute single sided boring slaughter happening 5 times in a row, i.e. in total 22 minutes and 30 seconds. But would it take 3 minutes to put together a balanced battle? Let's see: I cannot remember having seen less than 4000 connected to a EU server at a single time. First we eliminate +/- 2 tier matchmaking In their explanatory video clips they claim it would be necessary to get enough participants into one battle in suitable time. In my eyes, it is downright a flat lie. There are 10 tiers, neglecting the distribution of tier selection there would be at least 400 players in any tier at any time. A battle consists of 30 players so for every tier there would be enough players for at least 13 simultaneous battles. One might assume that this would be enough to have 13 "classes" of battle strengths at any time. If that is not enough, what is the reason to always have teams of 15? Why not have teams of 10 in times of need? Or 8? Could that make for variation? Is there any big difference at all to the mode we see today where in the first 3 minutes 5 of one team are gone already? Experiment of thought proving my point about balancing: Assumptions: 1. Huge number of battles 2. Only 4 players, 2 equal superfluffyunicums with fully rigged out tanks and crews, 2 deep red tomatoes with stock tanks and 50 % crews 3. The mm would balance the team quality of the competing team. Results: 1. Every battle would see teams with each one unicum and one tomato. 2. Every unicum would win 50 % of the battles. Every tomato would win 50 % their battles too, but it was not their fault a single time. Let's assume the 3. assumption was not true and the teams were put together randomly. Results (% rounded): 1. In 33 % of the battles the unicums end up in one team, having 100 % WR in that case. 2. In 67 % of the battles the results are the one of the original setup, i.e. 33 % of the total battles are wins for any of the participants. 3. Unicums will have a WR of 67 % and tomatoes 33 %. Does this sound familiar? All in all, I do not feel it is difficult to have much more balanced battles. They just do not want to because people would buy less premium. The wicked thing is, that there seem two types of premium buyers. The ones wanting to advance to higher tiers or other lines faster and the ones trying to improve their WR with gold. And it is the latter ones getting punished hardest with the current matchmaker.

Tthere are so many other factors in this game, that balancing out skill is not even that impactful. Also imo randomness is what keeps this game alive, if you cross the line with hardcore balancing, making most rounds same, you could possibly hurt this game more than 15:0 games.

i do not think that there should be a 'skillbased matchmaking system' in this game. If skillbased matchmaking will be implemented all of our win ratio's will more or less be the same because of the fact that 'good players' will meet 'good players' and 'bad players' will meet 'bad players'. This would simply make being good at the game less rewarding because regardless of your skill level every player will win around 50% of their games and lose around 50% of their games. However i do think that there should be 'an equal share' of skills on both teams. for instance, when one team has an exceptionally good player the other team should have an exceptionally good player to match that. and the same goes when one team has an exceptionally bad player, the other team should have a 'bad player' to compensate. this will make the win ratios more even like the 'skillbased matchmaking' but it will still give the better players a reward since they will outperform their their worse teammates

I think that's what most players mean when they mention skill based mm. Just sum up the whole team's rating and place 2 teams with the equal result, doesn't need to make teams with equal individual rating. Another consideration is a special queue for OP tanks like chief, 279e, ... so that if one team has them, the other should have them too (they've already done this in the previous rank battles with EBR, so this is not an issue for them).

No tryina be a downer but this shit happens and as most I try and keep myself positive it gets right at me to the point where I wanna write wg tickets with words that can't be written here (outta frustration, griefing teammates, bad rng on my account etc)

Streaks of one sided wins or losses are very annoying and don't seem random. The balance in this game is pathetic. I don't know why they don't try and fix this.

You should watch the video by Paddington about how to fix matchmaker it is a very well balanced view. I know WG will not pay any attention to it but if people like you as a CC don't say anything we will not get anywhere. On the format of your videos yes you need to show the bad ones and the good ones otherwise average players like me will leave the game because of the perception that it is full of players at your level who 'never' lose and so what really is the point in taking part?

Imo, one of the reason that makes win/lost causing frustration is that they are shown in your record. Imagine a tank that you love but it keeps getting trashed by mm and only have 40% wr. I quit playing random because of this and only back to the game playing frontline or events because wr does not matter there, so you just play to farm, to have fun, ... without worrying about mm f you in the @ss.

I just got my Jagdtiger and played my first game today. New tank, virgin crew and fired ZERO premium rounds! I got 3,763 damage and one kill! I was first in damage, but fourth in XP because I was sitting back sniping what others were spotting for me! You guys might like to brawl in this tank, but it's a great sniper too!

Yiesss.... good gun, quite bad mobility, unreliable armor. Average tank in my opinion. Playing with Jagdtiger brings more fun than expected, but also worse score than expected.

Honestly, I hate this tank with passion. Its platform is horrible: no cammo, no armor and moreover superslow. Yes, the gun is awesome, but 1)rng is rng 2) what TD 9 doesn't have good gun? Though nice video Skill, thanks!

I dont care if i loose 5 to 15 or win 15 to 5. I just focus on doing the best i can with what ever tank im in. If the team is stupid and throws 3/4 of the map for the enemy team so they can build crossfire with no resistance im happy for what ever damage and assistance i can make from it. I dont know if its the summer or what but feels like the leming trains have made their return.
