Marwah I am a Painter from Australia 🇦🇺 Let me give you some basic painting tips. -Always sand smooth and dust off any surface before painting -Use a roller tray to poor your paint into then dip your roller in the tray to paint rather then using the paint drum this will help prevent getting paint overspray and drips all over the place and you will spread the paint more evenly -Also you should sand the walls and ceiling in between coats. -Also do your cutting in around the edges with a brush first then roll the walls & ceilings after -Also wear one of your old glasses when painting not your prescription glasses they are very expensive to replace. -Also try to allow ample drying time between coats 30-40 minutes. - And the most important advice I can give you is to always use a primer coat on any bare surface before applying any finish coat or your paint will peel and you will have to strip sand and repaint everything.Hope this helps,also the ceiling needs a cornice profile around the edges.Best of luck with the renovations

Ha ha ..I give him 4/10. And I did paint my full house , including wooden surfaces etc. ...but my wasn't as messy ...and I prepped the surfaces really well ..just using utube videos. But ..he has tried. I didn't have an expert like Mr Louise to work with. Marwa you have Mr Louise. .don't rush things. Remember.. you need to ensure a beautiful smooth surface to get a beautiful finish. ..also.. guard from dropping too much paint on the floor

Are you aware of the cost involved if he were to hire someone else to do it? Besides, he doesn’t have anything holding him back. Here, in the US, people watched KZbin on how to do repairs themselves. They only call outsiders to do it if it’s something they can’t do. Most Jewish people who are very rich, do you think they become rich by throwing money around just bcos they have it. Baby is coming super soon, you can tell by Rocio's mood change. Now that you and Mr. Luis did ceilings, hire a handyman to complete the rest and cleanup the debris outside. The floor has more paint on it cuz Marwa doesnt know how to paint. Marwa could be buying a bed, crib etc

You need a paint tray for painting with a roller. Google paint tray so that you can see a picture of what you need. Your father in-law should have purchased it at the paint store. Because you do not have a paint tray, you are wasting paint. The roller also needs to not be smooth. It needs to be fluffier. All this can be obtained at the paint store. Talk to someone at the paint store for further advice. Mr. Luis does not always use the proper equipment. This makes the job harder than it needs to be.per equipment for the job. You do not dip a roller into the paint container. You must use the paint tray to remove excess paint from the roller before you paint. Without the paint tray, it makes the job harder than what it needs to be. Rocio has created a lot of stress for herself. She is near having that baby, and the studio is not finished.

Great job for a beginning painter. 😊The process of filling in scratches, indentations and holes in the sheet rock on walls or ceilings is called "skimming" or "floating." Each layer needs to dry fo a few hours before adding more layers of the "mud / plaster" until areas covered blends with flat areas on the walls being prepared for painting. Sanding the areas u applied to mud or pleaster to is recommended depending on the type of texture you prefer on your walls and ceilings. Apply pain after 24 hrs or more depending on how dry the "mud /plaster" you used. NEVER apply paint to any damp or wet surface.

Marwa, why can't you get professional to spray paint evenly for you and cover the floor with tarp, so you have an easy clean up. When will you go to childbirth classes to prepare for your baby. You need PPE for your eyes and a cover for head (hair) to toe . that is disposable. Enjoy your experience safely.

Marwa if the paint is too thick you can thin it out. If its oil paint use thinner to thin it out , if its water paint use water to thin it out and this method also stretch the paint to cover more space
