I understand her position working for criminals. For a while, I was unable to find a better job and also had to work under "apparent" criminals... When my manager at Domino's Pizza found out that I was supporting myself during my senior year of high school, and had even lived out of my car before finding shelter in an unfinished basement, my manager started keeping twenty dollars of my pay a night, for his "beer money". This was in Ann Arbor Michigan, which was and is not "a small town". When I tried to get a better job, I eventually learned that calls about my work reference "apparently" included being accused of "drunk driving while delivering pizzas" that I was moved into a non-driving position because they "felt sorry for me". As a Halfbreed, this was an easy false accusation to make, as the prejudiced view of Native Americans is that we "are all alcoholics". By the way, I was never moved into a "non-driving role" despite it being illegal to hire a minor for a delivery position. Keep in mind that the owners of the Ann Arbor Stores at that time was a couple whose main business "apparently" was importing cocaine, something that Mr. Tom Monahan knew as these were the first franchise owners of his empire. When the corporation, which bought the company from Mr. Monahan learned about Mr. and Mrs. Belnap's "business accivity", they took over their franchises by force, something they could easily do if they suspected criminal activity [like money laundering]...@@rabbit_bum

When the year had passed, he told me I hadn't worked hard enough and I didn't deserve it. I didn't know he was about to go out of business at the time. Told my dad, who lived 50 miles away everything that had happened and he drove straight down and threatened to have him audited. I had never told him I was being paid under the table. He was mad at me for taking a job like that but I often wonder what he would have done had I confronted my boss about turning him in to the IRS instead of my dad. Seems like life forgot about her. I'm hoping you can bring her case back to life and maybe with a program about her , she may be found and brought home to her mom and family . I worked for people like that, when I left I blocked everyone cause it was so toxic..owners wife starting fights between us all, being rude to customers and getting mad at us when we don’t defend her being judgmental towards certain people, kicking people out for no reason, expecting people to leave early on family vacations that were pre approved cause she made someone mad and they walked out. Another girl worked for them for years and when she would leave for a couple weeks or months at a time they would try to figure out her new employer to call them to get her fired

So if you can, I'd give notice the first whiff of toxic behavior and if you haven't worked there long, you can leave them off your resume (unless you desperately need to show experience) and replace it with volunteer work. If you haven't done any, sometimes they don't check and you can say you were temporarily caring for an incapacitated/sick relative. ☮️💜

I just recently had to leave a job bc I got injured at work and they wouldn't let me work within my restrictions, and my bosses did everything they could, including straight up lying under oath, to try and make sure I couldn't get workers comp. I wouldn't have gone back anyway, even if they hadn't done that- the actual worst employer I ever had. Always putting employees down, talking to them like shit and God forbid you tried to stick up for yourself, you'd get a writeup quicker than you could blink; she was never wrong, nothing was ever her fault. She made multiple girls actually cry on the job, when it was already a stressful career path. Over 50 ppl started and quit that place within a 2 year period and it was ALWAYS that person's fault, never had ANYTHING to do with her. I'm so glad I'm out if there. Sorry for the rant 😅

I was looking for content with an overall serious tone as I thought (at the time) it was more respectful, to bring a light hearted tone to such serious content seemed disrespectful to the victims in some way. After binging all your videos though I have come to appreciate and respect your approach. Celebrating the victims life through the life you bring to their story. Your I love yous at the end made me realize this and idk it left me in a state of bewilderment because I then realized my cynicism was stemming from a lack of love, specifically self love.
