Pikachu used to start off as a first rare Pokemon to catch as what Koji Nishino planned and everyone wanted to find that creature, but now he becomes popular enough to become the franchise's mascot we all know and loved. Look how far that Pikachu comes. In Koji's eyes, mission failed successfully.

I still believe to this day that Pikachu is only found in the Kanto/Johto regions. If you try to find it anywhere else, well, you'll end up with the cloned Pikachu ones rather than the actual Pichu/Pikachu/Raichu evolution line. So I still believe to this very day that it's only found in the Kanto/Johto area of the Pokemon Universe. But that's just me.

The index number the ball is checking for is index number 010, which pointed to the Moon Stone in Gen 1. Unfortunately, in Gen 2, index number 010 pointed the Burn Heal, while the Moon Stone was changed to index number 008.

If a Pokémon has this ribbon then on the switch games they can equip it to get the title "the Tried and True", so keep an eye out for muscle Pokémon if you're playing competitive.

Legends Arceus Pros: Too many to list. Its just that it shows you how dangerous Pokemon can really be, you can see Pokemon interacting with the environment and other pokemon and the boss battles were unique and amazing. Definitely the best single player experience out of all main series games thus far. Cons: -lack of an actual postgame. (Mandatory dex completion to unlock the true final boss isnt a good postgame its just tedious) -Lack of replayability(due to the tedious postgame, most players wouldnt be too excited to replay the game or even if they did, they would stop at the main story and ignore the true final boss) -severe lack of online and multiplayer options and features. -Its semi open world. Not a true open world where each segments are seamlessly connected to each other. The fact that you had to return to the village before you could go to another part of the map is dumb. -The broken battle system. It should never return. Its so unbalanced.

Fun fact: When playing legends Arceus, my first shiny in the game was the shiny alpha sligoo. It was new years eve at 10 pm when I found it and I cought it 2 1/2 hours later, I was horrified of it despawning because I had to go and collect pokeball resources multiple times. The strongest pokeball I could get at the time was a greatball and my pokemon were all mid level 30s or less
