Reviewing a couple Halloween themed episodes of the Super Mario Super Show! Bowser turns into a vampire and wants Peach's blood in Count Koopula. Then, in Slimebusters, we learn Ernie Hudson is a Ghostbuster in real life and has to bust Luigi.

Also the reason Bowser is called King Koopa in this show, is because he's actually refered to by NIntendo of Japan as King Koopa. It wasn't until "Super Mario 64" when North America started actually calling him Bowser.

The whole sunlight is fatal to Vampires thingy is still a new rule as far as Vampire Lore is involved, so I see no problem to ignore it for a Tomatoe Sauce Vampire Dragonturtle. The fact that Vampires are more active at night however is older, so disliking the sun even without actual harm still makes sense.

2:47 OH my God, I had that tape as a kid! I loved the games, but that tape was my only outlet of seeing the show. I watched it so much that the tape literally wore out, which made me super sad until many years later when Shout Factory released the series on DVD.

I know they did weird crossovers in the Live ACtion Segments (there was one where Inspector Gadget showed up and couldn't find a mechanic, so Mario and Luigi take the job.... they screw it up so badly he believes they're agents of Dr. Claw intentionally sabotaging him..... 15:53 - Fun fact: the original Count Dracula didn't burn in the sunlight, it just stopped his powers from working, so he can't transform into a bat or mist and is stuck in whatever form he was last in during the day except exactly at noon, sunrise or sunset (I don't know what "exactly at sunrise / sunset" is, but that's how Bram Stoker wrote it).

It doesn't, but it's a reference to a plan by KZbin to put forth rules that were so strict NO videos at all would cut it. The opening to Videogame Dunkey's GTA IV video spoofs these rules by showing the list of things they wouldn't allow Dunkey to do with him agreeing he won't do them....
