Some people get so weird about their sons liking something that’s pink. I used to work for an specialist online toy shop where if they didn’t request to choose/avoid certain colours they got random and we had so many people saying we where trying to ruin their son’s life / make them queer because one or two items out of 40+ where pink and the boy liked it. In preschool I had a friend named Jackson who really loved the Disney Princesses, they were his personal heroes and I thought that was really cool I remember on his birthday party invitations on the back his mom wrote "please don't get him anything princess themed" and I was really bummed. Boys don't naturally feel repelled by "girl" toys until adults teach them to be. That's the equivalent of 2 large shots of baileys in a 3 pound cake that is uncooked, without any loss of alcohol. In a recipe I found for a cooked one, around 80% of alcohol is lost, so equivalent of 10 large shots.

I had a friend in his 20's that didn't know Bailey's Irish Cream was an alcohol and chose the cheesecake with it in, I only noticed his food choices after the meal (written on cards with our names) and he freaked out when I told him as he's Muslim, and freaked out more as he didn't want to be drunk. I tried to make him feel better by saying it won't get him drunk as it was a tiny slice, and the alcohol in foods typically evaporates when cooked so he should be fine, and also he didn't pick alcohol on purpose so I think god will be understanding that he made a mistake lol

Whether the alcohol cooked off definitely depends on the kind of food the alcohol is in, for instance, there are kinds of cheesecakes that aren't baked at all. That being said- it would take a lot more alcohol than that to make a normally sized adult drunk, and I'm not a religious person, but I'd sure hope any god could forgive such a tiny, honest mistake!

Second, there is about as much alcohol in regular bread than in a cake with baileys flavor. Alcohol is in certain amount present in anything sweet, sometimes it is 0.01%, sometimes it is 1%. In the EU, most countries even call drinks below 0.5% of alcohol as non-alcoholic. Some put the limit at 1.2% You drink two cans of non-alcoholic beverage in Italy, you ingested about as much alcohol as there is in a whole large baileys cake.

On Easter at my work, i grabbed a bottle of wine out of a childs hands who was pretending to drink it and yelled "UHUH! NO. IM SORRY, NO!" and sat it down and continued running with my tray because we were spammed. This kid had been running around and screaming on Easter sunday at lunch for a while. Id already had to ask him to move from the walkway. Mom was horrified when she saw me yell at him and took him outside for 5 minutes. I was told later that they're old regulars that never watch their children. I think i was the first person to ever yell at that child and tell him no, from the fear in his eyes and how he sat in silence for thw last 5-8 minutes they were there. They also left pretty quickly after that anyway. Shit made me so mad. Watch your children in public. Alcohol takes about 2 hours of high heat in order to dissipate. That's why you don't feed your children sweets and food which has alcohol in it.
