Lean towards Provençal style foods with fresh ingredients, natural flavors and good balance but also love Italian. As far as baking goes I’m fascinated most by how each culture has some form of pan bread or pancake and also custards. Who would have though there are so many ways to combine simple ingredients? All the best with the baking. I love when young ‘uns find a niche they are passionate about and run with it. My youngest son, after being a waiter for a bit, took to wine service and is making his way as a Sommelier working on cruise ships and getting to taste and present expensive wines.

The age that you started baking reminds me of myself and my kids. My mom said my first time was helping her make my first birthday cake. I started my kids even younger. As soon as my kids could sit in the high chair I would put them in it and get them to dump the ingredients into the bowl. Then when they were ready - usually around their second birthday - I taught them to measure dry ingredients. As they grew, I added things when they were ready. It was a great bonding time and taught them a life skill. Now my daughters teach my grandkids the same way and I am sure my son will too if he has kids

Nice to get to know you like this, Alice! I work in a blood bank and can tell you that, for the most part, when you want to donate blood and also get a tattoo, as long as it's done at a reputable place and you wait at least six months, you should be good to go. It might vary depending on the country (I've heard 6 months to a year, mostly). It's all about giving the skin time to heal because blood donation is about giving whatever extra you are able to offer. :)
@misomie2 ай бұрын
My local blood bank said it's a myth (and excuse used to not donate) for all tattoos/piercings as I had wanted to get more and asked (probably different laws as some places do have funky ones). The 6 months is only from non licensed tattooers cause they're worried about the hiv risk. They said technically I could do day of as long as I'm not bleeding but that they'd recommemd at least a week or so depending on healing.

Your kitchen is _fine!_ I like the look of something more antiquated; yours looks like it was put up in the 1960s, and has been upgraded with newer kit since then. You should _not_ feel ashamed of it; also, I will point out that tile was originally a great improvement upon what came before it but is also esthetically pleasing. It looks like a kitchen that people _actually own,_ like, in their homes, rather than a film studio. It would be great to see like, baking tutorials; especially ones aimed at people (like me) who have _absolutely_ no idea because we didn't grow up with this stuff and get lost at steps that every other creator skips over assuming we know how to do it... Find some local (to you) auction houses and start watching their listings. Here in the midwest I have seen at least 5 auctions that include kitchen appliances this last summer. It is a lot easier than we want to believe, because lazyness, blaming others and prefering to watch videos online, gaming or whatever involve less energy. The only reason we as chefs use long sleeves is because it prevents oil splattering on our arms, although I do prefer the short sleeve jackets, witch I’ll use when I open my own restaurant after culinary school.

That was very informative. Thank you! I really like your contenct because - unlike many others who report the daily shenanigans of their customers - your content is almost always very wholesome. I feel better after watching your shorts, not worse. That is quite a feat. :)

I went to Ireland last year and had lots of fun! First time ever leaving the states! I actually enjoyed all the stews and soda bread! I was also shocked because I didn't see any potato farms while I was there, but plenty of sheep!

I just found your short videos today and commented on one of them. Then, just now, KZbin popped up your Q and A video. Wow. You are incredibly smart and so funny. You have a brilliant camera presence; so natural. I loved hearing you are from Ireland. My wife and I have visited Ireland six times. We loved driving up and down the west coast. I am so looking forward to your future content. Thanks for the wonderful humor.

I generally don't write comments, but I wanted to tell you how impressed I am about the fact that you speak german (so well)! I am german and understand all the people who decide to not learn this language due to its difficulty :) (And I agree on the fact, that italian food is the best! :)) Have a great day!

I once held out a menu to a man without arms, then held it there because I didn't notice, until he waved his shoulder nubs at me and politely declined it. So yeah, I feel you about the blind customer.

As soon as you said you went to a gig in January, I was thinking that was when BMTH did their NEX GEN UK/Ireland tour, was wondering if that was the gig you went to! confirmed in the next sentence when you said BMTH are your favourite band!! both Bad Omens and BMTH were amazing on that tour!! Was really great to see a few songs from 2008 were added for the tour, I feel old saying I saw Suicide Season 15 years ago just after it was released! And you're not old, what's old is me turning 30 in 7 months hahaha 😂

Outside of your DNA test results video with the deserts from where you’re from, this is the first “you” video I’ve seen. All your “things I’ve been told as a baker” videos are great, by the bye! But now watching this, may I just say, you. Are. AWESOME! Starting your own business at 17 is incredibly impressive. You’re also an absolute delight to watch with your quirky dancing, and just being you! It’s no wonder your first video took off, you seem like a gem of a person, and your personality shines through all your videos! ❤

The main issue is that they don't really do what they say. Legally, they say their product is for entertainment purposes only and not expected to be correct. That excuses the fact they fail such basic tests as giving identical twins the same results. Cloning is a joke, but they're actually stealing/claiming any useful bits they can find in your DNA. If it turns out you're naturally immune to cancer? They will own that cure, and you would be sued if you tried to donate your DNA for others to study.
