When the MTG Newb brings the most hated Commander

The other players put nine artifacts in play (each one of them had absolutely amazing opening hands)! With one creature, the Newb shutoff ALL of those artifacts.

Collector Ouphe is played in Modern. Probably best to just read the card.

This happened to two decks of mine, played by different players. 1. On my first ever commander night I had a Karador deck, a big portion of it based of YOUR video. That was basically when I started. Two opponents run mill decks, which speeded me up immensely. And I had "Blessed Respite" on hand to shuffle the graveyard back in the library once they DID mill me. :D 2. Last commander night my cousin joined us, for his first ever magic night. He doesn't own a single card, asked me to borrow a "easy to understand straighline deck". Only had Yugioh experience so far. I gave him my cheapest deck, which basically only cosists of budget cards you get for free when ordering other cards (just to make sure the envelope doesn't fold). Powerful cards that never see play because of outrageous mana costs. We talking $0.20 eldrazis with annihilator. I believe the whole deck was worth like $50, with 2 or three good cards consuming 70% of the budget. Commander used: "Jhoira of the Githu". By turn 4 eldrazis where already being put under suspense. By turn 6 they surprisingly appeared and started attacking (time counter manipulation), and no one was ready. The others expected it by turn 8 the soonest and focused on building their own stuff first. It was a massacre. We both won a game on our first nights. It was the only time I ever won a 4-player game. :D

So I ordered two double mast box topper packs the other day. I got atraxa noble heirarch toxic deluge and wurmcoil. 3/4 of those went into an impromptu atraxa +1 counter/planes walker deck and I’m afraid of people targeting me because of atraxa lol.

It's superfriends. Four colors, perfect mana, and tons of boardwipes/answers. If you haven't played her in your group, you should give her a try. She's got tons of flexibility and power

@@aktirimagic4405 I think I was just destined for it. The commander decks that interested me were like yuriko tribal, 5 color shrines, and dimir milling including others. I look up the decks then watch "top ten most hated commanders" and find at least half of my picks on the list lol. I like lots of complicated and interesting interactions. And maybe just a tiny bit of being toxic.
