When The Night Comes Falling - Vida Living Room Sessions

Part of a series of live acoustic songs, recorded in my living room. This one is the amazing "When The Night Comes Falling" from the film "Roadhouse" with Patrick Swayze. The house band in the film is none other than the Jeff Healey band, and this is his version of Bob Dylan's song. I hope you like it as much as me.

Dude I was so amazed at how much sound you were making with that acoustic guitar cuz I played guitar not as good as you but you had me stumped for a while I realize there's somebody in the background playing another one but awesome man one of the best voices and best acoustic players I've ever seen I listen to music all the time and you impressed me buddy very impressive for sitting on your couch I wish I could play that song that good at Jeff Healey song is one of my favorite songs of all time just want to put that out there took me like 10 times watching it to figure out how you were making so much music with that guitar you are sneaky one awesome bud you sound awesome I was very impressed by that performance on acoustic

Nice job! I just suffered through part of Bob Dylan’s brutalization of this song via an 80’s remake. I watched this to cleanse my ears and find the redeeming nature akin to Jeff Healeys amazing version of this song!

I’ve never understood how in the hell anyone could have ever listened to Bob Dylan sing and say: “Wow! What a great voice…” I get that he was a talented songwriter, but a good singer…? I’ve always preferred other artists’ versions of Dylan’s songs. Especially because because it’s more melodic, their voices are better and I’m able to clearly understand the words. This guy nailed it!
