When The Party’s Over… 3 Reasons PartyNextDoor Didn’t Blow Up
Today’s feature is an artist that really had the chance to be one of the biggest R&B artist of the last decade with as much talent he has and dedicated fanbase he’s built since 2013. It’s 2022 now, soon to be a full decade he’s been in the game and those same fans repeatedly have to ask “Where is Partynextdoor? In that span he’s released 3 albums, well spread out, with his last coming 2 years ago March 2020. He recently popped up online, but not with new music, but in a shock video a fan posted showing Party looking a lot different than he did the last time he came out of his shell and made the news. No pun intended but he looks anything but recognizable and some fans even fear he may not be in a healthy space, meaning there’s no telling when a fresh new album will drop or at least some kind of project put together that’ll make the wait his fans have endured worth it. Those same fans have seemed to have this issue with PND since the beginning of time though, where he’s always been slow to release and out of the eye of the camera. Yea man, I'm really working on that. People don't understand how hard it is to do clean voice overs. Trust me, I've tried so many different things. Just trying to get it right bro. I'll figure it out. Appreciate the honesty though, I need that. Anyone with pointers please help. Tried this DeClicker because I make this annoying nasal click sound when I speak naturally now. After every word is that click and it's literally Mic punchingly frustrating. That may have messed it up. Ugh

@@stuntedgrowthmusic I hear you bro, glad you took it the right way, cause I mean it in a positive way. Regarding ur issue, what program are you using for your voice overs? But don't let it stress you to much, other than that the quality is great and people are gonna be more focused about the content in it self. I got a trained ear, so little things like that directly pop out to me you know.

I wouldn't give a shit if it was 272 grand every 3 months. That's a bet. Y'all have fun with this music shit. Like when I found out Full Force, the 3 bullies in House Party, wrote some of the biggest records in the 80s for Lisa Lisa. Yeen seen nahn one of them niggas since 1992. Checks BEEN clearing. I was watching their episode of Unsung and I woulda bet all kinda money them niggas had 7 blocks in Brooklyn in a chokehold, pumping nothing BUT dope. But they was in the studio writing dope music for women. Fuck a career on stage and in front of the camera when I got WRITERS CREDIT on "I Wonder if I Take You Home" by Lisa Lisa. One of the biggest songs in the 80s. Call me content, complacent, lazy, trifling, I don't give a shit, my checks clear and I don't have to do shit but take a shit and wash my ass for the rest of my years.

I disagree. We all know of the drake stimulus package, party has arguably the biggest help from a star ever. @@javontaepinder9945 I agree with you on the fact he’s supported him that way but let’s be honest, PND being the only moderately successful act at OVO speaks volumes to Drake’s interest in putting them on the same level as him as I feel like happened with YM. I think it's the artist choice its lazy to slap the "blame drake" route if the industry is gipetto, you're pinnocho to swim right into the bait. roy woods, PND, preme, OB obrien..like, drake is around some reclusive people. You even in your life see the patterns in who you like and what you attract. maybe consider, drake doesn't want to babysit his artist, and in turn looks for artist he can give freedom to. Rou Woods signed, making music while in school, networking, recording his own. Got looks in exposure and seemed fine "Choosing" to be reclusive, same with PND, doing his own-thing, same with Preme, his own track record of music and handling his own, OB Obrien, working under the Drake-Business umberella behind the scenes, where he seems content on being, no dropping a loosie like "schemin up" is as far, as it needs to go. @r i live & breathe this music shit. your impulsive response sucks. fuckin rookies Drake, wanted-that push, intentionally. Something Wayne and the Label did-not-need-to do. Going back to reclusiveness These wouldn't be request, the artist mentioned before (i.e. pnd, preme, dvsn, majid jordan) etc. Would look to ask for or make happen.. PND gave WORK to rihanna... he gave it away & made it a clean get away when he hit the magazines talking about "oh one day i'll get my chance to get out the drake shadow & be appreciated for my work. no. that was PND having it his way (lack of attention/exposure) kept to a .. "minimum" & also keeping the brand their all-apart-of in Good light, using drake as the "mask" to lean-on as to why he'd give up that song.. instead of saying "fuck fame i just want my money & i dont really care for exposure" Which! keeps the ball rolling & artist aspiring, which continues to aid in bringing morr flock for the industry. On their level.. had he of "kept it real" it would inspire more than the industry would like, to stop pursuing them etc etc etc. So.. they feed u a predictable story in the left-hand while you ignore what the right hand is doing.. the hardest punches r the ones u dont see. You didnt c the cheques he got for writing, the clientel traffic for ghostwriting that PICKED UP even more after the song dropped. also assisted in blogs having material to write up for rihanna an the single helped promote her entire album & makeup line & all else.. its one of her first afro-ish type songs/beat so now it opens that market up for her Directly! instead of her being at an afro-beat type show as a guest star with american pop-songs. She has caribbean style Voice! caribbean style beats (kind of) like "mandown" but it was still .. american culture tailored. For drake.. again.. more exposure, opportunities, markets, merch etc. everyone got what they wanted. drakes artist under him do-not have that desire. their desire artistically, starts & ends with the love of the music. their desire business wise.. its still a $ business. so SellingSongs & ghostwriting keep those $ doors open for them, that.. like i showed you..feeds everybody in some way/shape/or-form. So, i get where you're coming from but your thoughts on this.. as far as it goes, is that, you just don't like that-thing about..whoever. That IS your point. which is fine finding a different way to say the same thing works if your not getting across clear. but, it does not work, when you have-a-question then get an answer.. just to ask the same question.. in a different way. I am saying what I already said..but i wasn't getting across clear to You, specifically. SO.. its fine to re itterate myself. BUT i already answered your question with my original statement. It's just re strategized to fit your Question specifically.. SAME response.. just moved pieces around.. didn't replace them. now before you misunderstand this & ask it again in a way where you SWEAR its a different question. Read what you write before you press "Reply/Post" & ask yourself, r u asking the same thing.. in a different way. fffuckin rookies you need bad guys like me so u can point the finger an say THATS THE BAD GUY

I don’t think the king breaks are a problem, his fan base is strong enough to wait for his music like Frank ocean, but he’s just one of those artists that don’t like the high level of fame, some artists are just lowkey

Some of y’all probably blame Drake for your fathers not stepping up. Everything isn’t the man’s fault lol. It had nothing to do with Drake. He’s crazy introverted and was going through some things with his mental health. This was at the height of his career too. It was all over his social media. Wasn’t a secret at all.

We don't even know how many fucs he actually gives. He obviously at zero since he doesn't care about social media.
