I agree with your point today. I too survived stage 4 prostate cancer. Life is difficult now, made so by the cancer and the treatment (Lupron). Its hard to accept that. You dont have to surrender however, and can fight back. Do something different for yourself, something you would not have done before. For example, I intend to float about 150 miles down the Missouri River in Montana next summer, just to get outside and to experience something new. Just me and the river and anything that lives along side of it. I too am perpetually tired, and unless I do some activity, I am dead to the world by 6-700 pm. So, just do that. When we die, we die, but in the meantime, its important to live. Good luck. Rob in Arizona.

Thanks Rob, Wow floating down a river in Montana sounds amazing, you have got me thinking of something I can plan. It's so important not to let this cancer take away our spirit. 🙏

Good Morning: I have just discovered your channel and I appreciate the information that you have shared about your journey! I've just been diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer with a Gleason score of 9-10 from 10 different biopsy specimens. I've just had my 1st injection of Lupron and will get 1 every 3 months. Additionally, I take a daily pill of Apalutamide. I will have my PSA checked and if the numbers don't stabilize or start to come down, they want to begin adding a chemotherapy treatment as well. Your insight about your daily life and experiences are very helpful in preparing myself for the journey that I am now on. I'm glad that you have been open and frank about what to expect and the mental ups and downs that will happen to me. I know that every person is different, but after researching my diagnosis and inserting my numbers from my biopsy and information from my body scan, I'm facing a survivability rate of 30% for 5 years. I'm glad I've found your channel to have a down to earth discussion of what to expect. Thank You and good luck with your journey.

Thank you @bobpatty8645 I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis it sounds very similar to mine. A word of Friendly advice. Try not to put any figures on your life expectancy, I believe when we start doing that we start to subconsciously plot our own demise. Focus on each day and make the very best of it as if it's your last. Good luck and keep in touch with how you are doing 🙏

I had my prostate out in August, they were positive they caught it early and I'd be fine. Psa test came back at 1.4. So they didn't catch it. Psma scan showed 1 tumor in a lymph node. Had my bone scan and will be starting ADT in the next week or so. 35 radiation treatments starting in January. I'm just starting this journey, and I'm not having many positive days. Thanks for your videos

Sounds similar to mine. I had my prostate out November 2022 and had thought 'one and done'. However when seeing my surgeon after 8 weeks he told me that lymph nodes were involved as my PSA did not go to undetectable. 3 monthly blood tests and PSA stayed the same until Sept this year when it suddenly doubled. Referred to oncologist who put me in for PSMA-PET scan and they found exactly where it is. Now on bicalutamide tabs and Prostap injections monthly for 2 years with 33 radiations to come later. One thing she did tell me though, is that now I'm on the hormones therapy, it is not as urgent as before as the treatment will keep it in check. Expecting radiation to start in a few months time. Sounds like you had very quick treatment, so keep positive, it may all be over soon and be just down to keeping watch. Good luck.

I have early Prostate Cancer. I tried staying on Orgovyx 120, a testosterone suppressant.. the plan being to shrink my prostate, and then , hopefully irradiate it. I had a severe reaction to the drug and had to stop. This is something not discussed about people getting treatment for Prostate Cancer. I pray for you, my friend.

So sorry to hear what you are dealing with... it always makes me wonder why we never hear about Rapamycin, Berberine, Ivermectin, Quercetin Phytosomes, Fisetin Phytosomes, Curcumin Phytosomes, Liposomal Apigenin, Modified Citrus Pectin and so on. There is very serious research on the NIH that discusses each and every one of them. I have the links if you are interested.

@@Livingwith-prostatecancer The first thing we need to understand, is that for decades, flavonoids, polyphenols, proanthocyanidins, etc have been limited by their absorption capability and their bioavailability. Those days are gone, the advent of liposomal nutrition has begun a new era. I promise you, the data I have collected from the NIH is the most uplifting, potentially beneficial science we presently have available. I'm going to start with Apigenin, found in celery, chamomile tea, parsley. I'm so glad you are receptive, let's see where this takes us.
