Ive been thinking for a minute. It's pure, beautiful sadness. Not depression, and that's in the context. That the piece and life are beautiful and through sadness there is beauty. No high highs without low lows. That chord made me grateful to know sadness. Just.. wild.
@chloechan3212 жыл бұрын
@@danielsalgado1885 I guess I wouldn't call it sadness. More like the peace you feel when you're finally letting go of something. I'd imagine that's what I'll feel when I'm stepping onto the clouds of heaven's gate, knowing that my mission on Earth is completed.

@ManuTears982 жыл бұрын
@@mathiaslevyvalensi-compose5014 yeah! Db major sounds dream-like to me (and in general when a lot of flats are involved). Even though I was taught back in the day to recognize major and minor tonalities by telling whether they sounded happy or sad respectively, F major is a great exception to me
@ManuTears982 жыл бұрын
@@tanglongtao taking notes on that! Thank you :)
@mathiaslevyvalensi-compose50142 жыл бұрын
@@ManuTears98 I feel as though the whole "happy and sad" thing is a little oversimplified past a certain stage... I think it's important to keep in mind that an equal temperament doesn't and can't really exist which leads to differences in the keys, still today. It's really important to keep that in mind, study and experiment with it when we come to writing music, to have the most organic feeling possible!

**Amazing grace, how sweet the sound** That saved a wretch like me. I once was lost, but now am found, Was blind, but now I see. **'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,** And grace my fears relieved. How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed. **Through many dangers, toils, and snares,** I have already come. 'Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, And grace will lead me home. **The Lord has promised good to me,** His word my hope secures. He will my shield and portion be, As long as life endures. **Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,**
