Although close allies for decades, the U.K. has one major difference to its American cousin: the Monarchy. Presidents have come and gone for hundreds of years with each political party fighting it out for a place at the White House. And yet, the British Monarchy has remained a constant, witnessing the rise and fall of governments from across the Atlantic. But what happens when one of the world’s most powerful political leaders meets one of the world’s most powerful families? This is When the Windsors Met the Reagans.

President Reagan and HR Queen Elizabeth II are two of the greatest this world has known in the 20th and 21st centuries. President Reagan was the first President I voted for in 1984 when I turned 18. I pray their memories will long be a blessing to those who study them in the future, as there is much to be learned. I love this quote by Dinah Maria Mulock Craik and think it applies to more than personal relationships. "Oh, the comfort, the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person; having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words, but to pour them all out, just as they are, chaff and grain together, knowing that a faithful hand will take and sift them, keep what is worth keeping, and then, with a breath of kindness, blow the rest away.” ― Dinah Maria Mulock Craik, A Life For A Life

Class personified - I miss these days! God Bless the Queen and Duke and the Reagans for their dignity and respectable countenance. I hope we can find some of this dignity and unity between our two great countries in the future. Cheers from CA USA.

It would be a sign of dignity and respect to spell the president’s name correctly. Reagan, not Regan. Unity through better composition and checking for errors.

Don’t we all ? Since President Reagan , The White House seems to have dissolved into a “cat “ house , “out house “ and all the rest of it , then the obama slick house ending up with the biden sh.. house. Good luck America , you need it but so then does the rest of the world if Americans are going to continue voting for these types .

Enjoyed this but it’s shame the narrator wasn’t more informed on his own country’s history …. RR died 2004 not 2005!

That sound you are hearing is George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Ronald Reagan spinning in their graves that you tried to the orange goon to their names. There has never been a worse president than Trump and we have had some bad ones.

I dont know who the commentator chicky is, but someone needs to remind her that the role of government isnt to briing the siccessful down to be equal with the unsuccessful; its role is to get out of the way and eliminate redtape so the unsuccessful can succeed. You cant achieve success by receiving lifelong handouts. You want that? Go to Cuba.

There is extreme poverty everywhere…it feels more concentrated in big cities. Most of the poorest states in America are ruby red.

QE2 was one smart cookie. She knew that Charles would make Camilla Queen once he became king She negotiated a deal where she would approve the queen title if he paid Andrew s bill for the underaged hooker. One might believe the maltreatment of Andrew currently is because he knows it was a bad deal
