Ross - you have been a terrific player for quite a while now. That said, I have really enjoyed watching you develop into the incredible artist you have become. Wishing you much success!

You feel the way you want to play on guitar. Nothing quite as expressive as playing music!

After playing since I was 7 years old, it is your lessons that help me sort out what I, already have and learn more. When I purchase any lessons, they will be from you. Thank you, Ross. This video sounds, like music should. 💯

Beautiful playing,Ross! And a terrific example of how "feel" extends to all aspects of playing - chords, arpeggios etc - and not just more traditional lead approaches😎👊👌

Watch the full official video for my single 'Novi Sad' 👉 kzbin.info/www/bejne/j2LLnnmkap15pZo Stream 'Novi Sad' everywhere - bit.ly/RossCampbellNoviSad I’ve been building my career as a guitarist for over half a decade now and I have spent the majority of that time analysing the work of other musicians in an effort to educate online. So, I thought it was about time that I showed the world what I myself have to say with this instrument by releasing some original music of my own. My debut single ‘Novi Sad’ is available on all major platforms now. The official video is available to watch on my KZbin channel. It features Gavin Lamont on drums and Martin Barnaby on bass. The session was recorded, engineered and mixed by Graeme Young at Chamber Studio, Edinburgh, in May of 2022. This piece of music is an amalgamation of instrumental guitar ideas that I’d been toying around with since early 2018. The solo and main chord progression came to me first and the rest of the song was built around it. We spent a full day tracking around 12 takes of the song and the final take is what made the cut. I wanted to capture this song in a natural and authentic manner and so, we recorded it with all three of us playing live, together in the same room. No click tracks and no overdubs. My videographer John Mackie did a stellar job of capturing the performance on video and other than some slick B-roll added to the final edit, most of what you see in the official video is the genuine footage of us recording that final take from start to finish. It was an absolute pleasure getting to finally bring this song to life with such talented musicians. I think you’ll agree when you hear the full song that they served it beautifully. Thank you for listening. I hope that this music makes you feel something 🎸✌❤ - Ross
