All the airlines will give you the standard 2 checkin baggage’s (23kg x2) and one 7kg laptop bag and one 7kg cabin bag.! So almost all indirect flights with 1 stop are giving the exact same allowance so nothing to worry about.!

I can’t tell about each and every route specifically but as canada has stated that the 2 RTPCR’s that will be taken would be in India before boarding and the next one directly in Canada(Random Testing) after your landing and NO TESTS in between even though you have stops in a 3rd country!

As far as transit visa is concerned while booking a particular flight it will be mentioned that you require or don’t require a transit visa anywhere in your journey but in most cases if you don’t step out of the airport you don’t require a transit visa! Nextly if the flight from Hyderabad to Toronto is of the same airlines then you don’t need to check out your luggage but if they’re different then you can always ask the authorities if you need to check out and it’s not a big deal ik many students are sceptical about this but it’s all okay!!

You can get one if you want to travel but in that case *you would not be considered travelling directly from india to canada via a 3rd country* and you might need to follow the guidelines of that *3rd country to toronto.* I’d suggest for not going for a transit visa in the 3rd country *rather just relax and layover on the airport for 6-7hours* since your luggage would be directly booked from dehi to toronto.

Indian nationals, regardless of foreign residency status, can only travel from India to the UK, Ireland and Cayman Islands and must hold a valid visa. India nationals cannot travel further to any other countries, unless their spouse is a foreign national or they are a seaman travelling with authorised documentation from the Ministry of Shipping. So basically it is said that you can only *land in canada as early as 21 days from your courses start date* so that calculation you can do from your courses start date! As far as website is concerned *you can use MakeMyTrip or even the airlines website itself* for booking your tickets, whichever you find cheaper and reliable acc to your budget.!

Raj Rawat, immigration is mandatory at the very FIRST airport you are landing IN CANADA. If you are landing in Canada at Vancouver, immigration procedures have to be completed at Vancouver airport itself. This first airport is called your port of entry into Canada.

I can’t tell about every possible route for canada but all the major indirect routes like dubai france are allowing travel without RTPCR pretty easily!

No there’s no quarantine until you’re found positive at the Toronto airport post landing. And of course you need to be negative at Delhi airport before boarding.

Hey there, I have gotten my PPR today. I am planning to travel in April last week as my classes start from May 2. My question is if I look for connecting flight from Chennai I get them at only 43k. Direct flight from Delhi is near to 1.23 lakh. I understand that Canada lifted the restrictions, but what about these third countries ? Say the flight I am talking about is from Chennai to France and then from france to Vancouver. So when I get down at france don't I have to pass the travel restrictions at France ?? Won't that be a problem ?

If you go via france and if france is one stop in your flight from India To Toronto then at france you won’t require any negative RTPCR report with these new rules. So you can safely travel via france and only 2 places you will be checked for RTPCR one before flying from India and other when you land in Canada. Nowhere else in a 3rd country you would be checked for RTPCR. You can check the immigration website for more information as well!

@@venkatsravankumarchinthapa9563 no no even if the 3rd country has their own restrictions they are for the flights which go from that country to another country but for you if that 3rd country is a stop then you will be considered travelling from India to Canada and not from that 3rd country to canada, that 3rd country would then be treated only as a stop. So don’t worry!

Refundable tickets are usually costlier than non refundable one’s. If you have a very good profile plus you are confident about getting your PPR then you can do that but for most people i still recommend to be on the safer side.!
