It's a new medium and a New Era of godzilla so they updated his origins, his looks and his powers. If you don't like it that's fine but don't try to attack someone who's been watching godzilla since I was 5 years old as if I'm just some fair weather fan who hasn't been through the constant bullying and remarks about how I shouldn't like something both so silly and childish. Godzilla is a treasured part of my past and me as a person... it was the biggest thing I used to bond with my late grandmother. So go try to be smart somewhere else where there are children for you to pick on since that seems more your speed.

What would they even do in season 2 though? Like there's no problem anymore, and I think having Godzilla come back would be random and defeat the purpose of the first season. As much as I love SP I think it's good as a one off just like other good movies, but I do have questions like why did the make Mecha Godzilla?, where did JJ go and what would happen to it? And what happend to Pelops ||? (I might've forgot, or they just never showed)

There was an entire mechagodzilla thing right? Maybe it’s made up of singular point gojira? Plus they could have the return of a kaiju like titanosaurus or something involving more of the red mist and where that came from, and where Godzilla came from, which may have been revealed but I don’t understand the physics with the show to be honest, but there could be a whole new plot involving the past season.

@@gojiratown2369 wouldn't hold my breath. Shin Godzilla 2 was scheduled to happen, but because Anno wanted Shinji Higuchi to direct, Toho said no. They departed. SP season 2 was scheduled, Takahashi left, and it's highly possible a sequel to Minus One won't happen as Yamazaki is still in Hollywood for the time being. We'll see what happens though. There's rumors Shinsuke Sato is the next Godzilla director and if true, Kenji Kawai may finally get his chance at helming the score. It's all a waiting game currently. Be watchful.
