When to give an Emergency Injection

When do you give an emergency injection?
When an individual with adrenal insufficiency goes into an adrenal crisis an emergency injection is imperative to save their life!
Some symptoms of a crisis can include but are not limited to:
💙Dizziness
💙Nausea
💙Vomiting
💙Diarrhea
💙Muscle Weakness
💙Lethargy
💙Drop in blood pressure
💙Loss of consciousnesses
💙Chest pain
💙Cramps
💙Headaches
💙Total body shut down
💙Flank pain
💙Confusion
If you see an individual go into a crisis they need an injection and to be taken to the hospital immediately!

Hello! How are you doing with the osteoporosis? I saw one of your older videos. I've had Addison's for 30 years and my latest dexa scan showed osteopenia. I'm only 40 so I'm a bit worried.

@@brendan817 hey there! I’m actually scheduled to get a bone density scan this fall - so I’ll have to follow up once I see my new numbers. I haven’t been doing the best on physical PT for that, but I have started a new bone supplement that I’ll share more about when I know if it’s working! 🙏❤️🥄

I have watched a couple of your videos and first off thank you. Next i have not beed diagnosed with addisons yet. I have been trying to see an endo for 6 months. I had a right adrenalectomy and now my body isn't marketing hardly any cortisol. How did you get to the mayo clinic. I'm 2 hours away and thinking about driving to the er. I'm taking cortisol but it doesn't seem to be working anymore

@jamesward3622 I reached out to the Rochester clinic with my paperwork. At the time my levels were so low they called me right away and asked me to come out. I know that isn’t the case for everyone, but worth just calling and inquiring. Who are you working with right now? 🙏💕🥄
