Very informative vid, I never considered about the the ways you can get an edge with the armaments system, and will be exploring way to do that. It would be great if you could make a dedicated video for it! Although I would have to challenge and say it’s absolutely luck thats needed for you to have the base to make the right decisions on. You can make the best decisions you want, but if someone is lucky enough to pull more special/rare inscriptions, or you can perform on average much better in kvk than someone else - but you lose while their KD gets Zig and they get special inscriptions from that. But regardless, it would be incredibly helpful to see a guide video if at all possible.

@@hdgbsy9871 Of course…. But that’s why there’s professional poker players. You can beat any of them in a hand if you are lucky but the more hands you both play, the more likely their edge becomes apparent. I’ve made like 5 videos about armaments already. I’d recommend you check them out. And many of my mentoring sessions involve armaments

@@Busdriver3092 Thats true length of time making the best choice will definitely balance out luck, especially with the potential for pity systems you mentioned. In any case my biggest question is really when to ‘give up’ on an armament, diminishing returns and all that. I will take a look through your existing content, thanks!

Great Vid. i always love the detail and thought that goes into your vid's. They are so valuable to the ROK community. As a FTP, I would love to hear your thoughts on the armaments system and how to get the best out of this horrible random system

@@nidge6753 1. Do all arch. This way it’ll still be applicable to all your marches. If you’re F2P you’re probably running less marches so having your LC march in the best place possible is a priority. 2. Be really stingy with your transmutation stones. Rather than getting your armaments with average inscriptions to a decent place, you’re saving to roll specials, doubles or rare inscriptions only

@@Busdriver3092 Thanks for replying and the great advice. Unfortunately, I am heavily invested in 3 wedge formations for my Arch, Cav and 2nd Inf march. My Liu/Alex has ok Arch armaments. I definitely will take onboard your suggestion of being stingy with transmutation stones. That has been my biggest mistake to date, giving in to frustration to the lack of specials :(. Again. appreciate you taking the time to reply and spreading such useful info to the community

I really gotta catch up with you for some mentoring bro…. I’m so torn on whether I should continue current set improvement, or move on to a set for a 4th march. My 2 inf sets are all legendary 4 piece with hope cloak, but still karauk humility. My guan set is currently using silent trial and wind scars, and my LC set is using gg and ring. Then, my cav set is complete legendary, using set helm, chest, and boots, ash of the Dawn, and kvk weapon. Accessories are silent trial and horn. They seem really solid, but definitely could use improvement.

I forgot to mention that my next set will likely be a cav set to run a huo/undecided (I currently have an expertise mina to use until I decide who to use secondary, will probably wait until next cav release to decide), as I will have the spare set helm because I intend to craft a price of the khan helm, and I also have the purple cav weapon to start with the set.

Love these videos, wondering your thoughts about what to do heading into KVK3? Im 27 mil power and got 1 decent set of gear for cav (2 legendries and rest purple) and nothing else for other marches. Who should I go for between Nevsky and Joan if I only have enough sculptures for 1? And in general, any tips for if im only running 1 march

@@bull2439 I’d recommend LC personally but if you are already locked into Cav…depends on what other commanders you have already and where they are. In general I think Joan is probably the best investment for the future.

@@Busdriver3092 ok thanks. My biggest issue with switching to infantry is just that I don’t have good blueprints either so even if I was waiting on materials I simply can’t make the good gear.

Would you say that milkyway+ians is the way to go for f2p/lowspend instead of the set 222?

Its just better gem wise and awakening/critting wise + you get more hp which is obv better

@@Yeetcovid I think you should do LC max and scipio to 5551 starting off. Scipio is most likely a better future investment than Alex and you also don’t need to put a double museum on him and you can save it or use it somewhere else
