Salah and Trent have one more "strong" fixture this gameweek up until gameweek 12, I can see Brighton scoring once or twice at Liverpool (like last season too, when LIV had less injury concerns). I rather have KDB for Southampton(h) and Liverpool(a) gameweeks 10,11 than Salah for arsenal(a) and Man City(h). I like James, Fofana, Cancelo, Trippier on wildcard and Maddison, Bailey, Andreas, maybe Martinelli for his cheap value and Mitrovic and Haaland. Most of the wildcard I like the looks of tbh!

Great video. I think generally speaking GW6 produced low scores for most teams but like you my team looks pretty good for GW7 and a couple of free transfers for GW8 should do me nicely. I planned from the start to wildcard before GW9 but I'm not convinced I really need to. Using free transfers to remove some Arsenal & Liverpool players, and then wildcarding them back in before GW13 is currently looking like it might actually be the better option. I dunno ... keeping my options open in case of injuries and stuff.

I agree there isn’t a perfect time to WC - week 9 or 12 there could be value, though the value is diluted this season compared with previous seasons. What are your views on using the WC as a FH in week 16 to target that gameweek - some really good fixtures that the WC will allow you to get to form players easily. My team is high template, and I can easily navigate week 8-12 as it stands without hits for transfers (also non taken this season). Plan is to leave the WC until week 12 and assess if week 16 is a viable option and treat it as a FH! I’ll caveat, injuries/suspensions could scupper this plan where I would revert to week 12 WC!

GW8 seems optimal imo, Chelsea and Liverpool fixture clash, fixture swing for Newcastle, even Brentford away I don't think is an easy fixture for Arsenal

I’m not being funny, but by activating my wildcard and dropping Salah I’ve freed enough funds to whereby my biggest problem moving forward will be a strong possibility of leaving an s load of points on the bench, and having to be very lucky/diligent with that. Even if Salah suddenly bounces back and finds his best form, I don’t think it’ll be enough to compete with the points I’ll be getting from the rest of the squad I have.

i had to wildcard because i had a lot of deadwood. I had to get Salah, TAA, robbo, out. I also needed to get Haaland and toney(i can switch between buying mitrovic and toney). I wanted to have all three forwards(kane, haaland and mitrovic/toney). I feel robbo and TAA won't perform as well, and there are too expensive. I used my wildcard for gameweek 5 and i got 69 points this week. My squad is pretty decent going forward. I have; GK: Raya, ward DEF; James, Cancelo, Trippier, Estupian, Dalot MID; Martinelli, Gross, Zaha, Sterling, Andreas FOR: Haaland, Kane, Toney/Mitrovic I prefer a big forward line as the forwards are currently outscoring the midfielders(Mitrovic, Haaland and Kane are scoring in almost every game compared to midfielders) Salah does not look the same without mane, and if you see in liverpool games, they just can get above 2 goals. I think sterling would score similar returns to salah considering sterling is cheaper and chelsea have like a good run in the next 5 fixtures

I would try and get neto and Andrea's out if possible, I took neto out gw3 and glad I did. I dont think taking a minus 4 for a player you will put back in in 2 weeks makes sense. Especially when wolves are awful going forward so could be a cleansheet for trent

Im thinking of using my wildcard after gw8, my team would be: Pope, Ward Trent, James, Cancelo, Dalot, Fofana Salah, Gross, Martinelli, Rashford, Andreas Haaland, Toney, Mitro Trent and Salah are dependent on how they do over the next 2 games, I might drop one or even both if Liverpool keep underperforming. That would free up cash for either KDB or Sterling+Kane. I kinda want to steer away from KDB due to rotations with City. My only worry for now would be that I might have to many playing players and might have to make some tough choices on who to play.
