So the scenario was, Pakistan and India had to play their next matches (after their clash) against minor teams. Pakistan had to play Bangladesh and india had to play Afghanistan. So bangladesh was a minor team as compared to Pakistan, so obv there wasn't going to be a problem winning match against them (wo alag baat k bangladesh wala match thriller bn gya tha, aur hum haartay hue bachay, which was totally unexpected) so the real problem for us was India, agar hum wo match na jeet'tay toh India Afghanistan ko hara kr final k liye qualify kr jata.

@@realpopcornspeaks Bangladesh were the finalists of the previous Asia Cup, runners up to be exact. They then played the QF of the World Cup next year and qualified for CT17. On top of that, they defeated India, Pakistan and South Africa at home in the next 20 months after Asia Cup 2014. They were by no means an easy side to play against. Bangladesh ne aapko almost hara diya tha 2012 main (both the league game and the final). India were never a threat to us. They already lost to Sri Lanka at the beginning of the tournament.
