In 2019, DJ Khaled picked a fight with Tyler The Creator. It became the biggest mistake of DJ Khaled's whole career. What did Khaled say to Tyler The Creator? What did Tyler The Creator say back? What was the beef over? Who was in the right, who was in the wrong? How did it impact each artist's career? All of these will be answered, in The Time Tyler The Creator Destroyed DJ Khaled
Thank you guys for watching, like and sub if you enjoyed, SunnyV2

Tyler is a fan of jazz, soul, punk rock and putting all of this into something creative including Hip-Hop. The man expands musically, no one’s looking for the same old sound that plays on the radio 24/7. They need something different, authentic, real even. Tyler embodies that sound. He ain’t the best but he’s a perfect example of what artist need to start doing

This is why I love Tyler's personality, he doesn't care about being on top, he doesn't get upset that his album isn't number 1, he just enjoys the music and its foundation. He very much is. He used to have a sketch comedy show with some of the OF gang back in the day on adult swim. It was almost like snl met jackass with some black flair. He gave up on the comedy stuff because he was tired of being referred to ass “the funny guy”. at one point he was more known to mainstream audiences for his comedy. So he decided to cut that shit out. And came out with flower boy. Which is probably his true break out album.

I just started listening to Tyler like 3 weeks ago. And yeah, his songs are mysterious. But that's why I like it. The rhythm, the beats, the meaning of each and every song that he puts out is incredible. And with the clips that I see of him on yt including this video, he's such a likeable and humble guy. I'm glad that he loves what he does and doesn't let it get to his head. And I'm sorry, but how can I not like a song that says "how much wood could a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could ever give a fuck"??

As a music teacher I remember listening to DJ Khalid album when it dropped and thinking it was a hit. A while after I talked to my students and asked about the music they liked, it was unanimous, Tyler the Creator. They played his video, earfquake, and I remember wondering, if they were serious or not. Overall it was different and funny to me. Overtime I realized that Khalid’s music was played everywhere, and the older gen (like me) assumed that everyone listens to it. However, Tyler’s music has a greater impression on this generation. I could be overthinking it, but I feel like Tyler’s music allows you to be yourself, while Khalid is all about superficial success. I don’t know, I could be wrong, but as long as we’re all getting music that we like, I consider it a win.

I think you’re right, I’ll add on that a lot of us had been listening to Tyler for a while already (or after discovering him looked into his discography and history) and felt a connection to the way he presented himself and interacted with his art. He was casual, funny, but still took himself seriously. We saw him grow in real time from nothing to #1. And seeing that, from someone you can connect with, it feels like you can do it too.

For the longest time I always just ignored Tyler's music because I only knew of him from the odd shit he did on Adult Swim and assumed that's all his music was. One day I heard a song that got stuck in my head and when I finally looked it up it was Tyler and from that point on I've listened to his music and really enjoy it. I wish I would have given him a chance sooner I definitely think he deserves to be recognized for the work he does.

Just the fact that DJ Khaled got so pressed about not getting a number 1 is pathetic to me. Mostly because it shows you how little he actually cares about the art, he is just name value and hit maker, not a creative. Hate him or love him, you can hear Tyler's personality in his music and his willingness to experiment/progress is respectable.

And then the unfortunate thing is that, I've never heard a Tyler The Creator song on the radio, playing in a barber shop, or a store. But in my personal opinion, Tyler is miles ahead mainly because of his style. He doesn't make his music like a lot of other mainstream songs and he pretty much "created his own style." And on top of that, dude is a legend and doesn't even care about that. He will go down as one of my favorite artist just for this.

Nah, because the rapping within his older songs was better than his newer songs. His new stuff sounds hella different and has way more singing than his older music. It depends on what kinda rap you like considering there's just so many different genres, him being the best rapper in recent times is a bit of a stretch. Earl has better rap skills imo than Tyler, but Tyler is able to combine so many different sounds and make it work.

Tyler is an actual artist telling his story in a goofy, unique way and is a pretty likable person. Even how he handled this 'beef' was correct. DJ Khaled just googles "Top 15 Rap artists" and yeets them all together over a generic beat and expects everyone to appreciate his 'mind blowing' art, it's laughable. Dj Khalid had never ever been a rapper, ever since the day I saw him being featured on a T-Pain song, it became clear to me that he was basically a hype man. Tyler, The Creator was making great music ever since OFWGKTA, dude was literally being talked about back when I was in high school! People bought his merch as well, so why would this be any surprise to Dj Khalid?!?!? Oh wait… it’s because his mindset and ways of business are out dated. Barber shops and Cars?!?!? Video games, Interviews, and Originality do exist, does he not know about this???

First time I heard Khaled was when I went back home to New York for a vacation. This was when "Lean Back" debuted and I think Khaled was on Hot 97 at the time. Either that, or he was a guest that day and was promoting Fat Joe's album. All I remember was every time I heard him on the track or hyping something up on the radio was thinking "Man, I wish this guy would shut the eff up." Unfortunately, he never did and only got louder and more irritating over the next 19 years. The mid to late 2000's was when I actually listened to the radio and dug some of the songs they were playing: "Make it rain", "We takin' over", "I'm so Hood", "Go Hard". But hearing his voice at the beginning and end of those songs really took me out of it. To me, he was never an artist, just a glorified hype man with connections and phone numbers.

I like happy endings like these. People get too lost in the moment. We're all the same afterall. Competition is healthy, but everything in moderation.
