I appreciate this content and very impoortant in UXR, but the thumbnail of this video can come across as offensive as it may portray sterotypes of Black and brown individuals because other video thumbnails are of you. On the topic of lying/softening the truth in research, I have definitely had individuals who don’t want to bad mouth the company. When conducting interviews people don’t want to feel unintelligent so they may portray themselves as experts on a subject when they are not. Or the opposite, where a user portrays themselves as more “ignorant” to a subject because they are afraid to make a mistake.
