Revelation 12 describes a war in heaven where Michael and his angels fight against the dragon and his angels. But when did this happen? Is this happening before the Garden of Even or during the End Times? Or did it happen during some other event? This video is inspired by this post: www.stephenjbed...

Satan is defeated tree times. First in a premortal "war" in heaven after which Satan is cast out into the earth to tempt mankind. Second, when Christ effects the redemption on the cross. Third, when men reject him on earth and choose Christ, thus accepting his redemption. So the first war in heaven continues here on earth. The woman was Eve, not the Virgin Mary or Israel. Your interpretation of why it is Michael, not Christ who casts out Satan is because Michael was given that job by God the Father in preexistence. Christ was given the job of redeemer.

Yes, I think you are correct that Revelations 12 is to be interpreted as written. The war in heaven takes place upon Christ's resurrection.

It happened at the beginning and quite possible on the 6 day of creation and sometime after the creation of Adam then Eve. We His or JHVH’s children have SOULS. The War could have happened even before the creation began. Most bibles have a gap between the first and second Verses of Genesis and some believe that that is when the War in Heaven took place.

John. MacArthur thinks conflict breaks out during the rapture as the demons attempt to stop our angelic escorts from taking us up. Sorry I can't remember what speech it was...but it's an interesting thought.

Thank you for your insights. And everyone that commented, thank you for your insights. Thinking of the war in heaven, it's still ongoing, .... with Christians and the powers in high places. The Lord reminds us in : Ephesians 6:12 King James Version For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." 🙏✝️ Put on your "Spiritual armor" and keep running your race according to Jesus' instructions to us, with "patience and endurance" dear souls in Christ with me. God bless us all everyone. Come Lord Jesus!

I appreciate that you seem to be using your real name - not “hiding behind” a domain name. Next, an housekeeping suggestion. Even with the volume turned all the way up, I had to strain to hear you. Plus which, the intro was much louder - which required me to adjust the volume twice. Some of Bible prophecy - including most of the Apocalypse - is written in symbolic language. I suggest three reasons for this: 1) To encourage us to look for fulfillment in the past, the present and the future, 2) To encourage us to consider the possibility of double application of some aspects of prophecy and 3) To discourage us from being dogmatic about Bible prophecy in general but particularly about those aspects of prophecy written in symbolic language. In the case of the war mentioned in Revelation 12:7, one way to interpret it is that the war started before the events described in Genesis 3 and that the war has continued until now - which interpretation doesn’t preclude the belief that the greatest battle (or one of the greatest battles) of that war was at the time of the crucifixion of Jesus. Some people believe the war that started in heaven will never end but I prefer to interpret Bible prophecy as including an end to the conflict. In one sense, the outcome may have been decided at the time of the crucifixion of Jesus but I think of Revelation 20:7-9 as describing the end of the conflict. (Many commentators who think of themselves as interpreting the Bible “literally” are inclined to try to not only place most of the prophecies of Revelation in the future but to interpret most of them as chronological. I, too, prefer to interpret the Bible as literally as I can but I’ve never found a way to interpret “everything” in the Bible literally and I don’t subscribe to either the futurist method or a strictly chronological interpretation of the prophecies of Revelation.) The language in Revelation 12 - “neither was their place found any more in heaven” and “cast out into the earth” - can be understood as meaning that heaven was no longer Satan’s “abode” or “base of operations”. (See Jude 6.) The creator gave Adam and Eve “dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” I think of Satan, after the fall, as claiming dominion over this planet. God is God so he could have refused to even communicate with Satan after he was “cast out” of heaven. God could have simply denied Satan’s claim of dominion over our planet. There is, however, more at stake than only whether Satan is right or wrong. God could have completely destroyed Satan and the angels that sided with him in heaven. On the other hand, if Satan’s claims about God’s government of the universe were as subtle in heaven as his deception of Even was subtle on Earth, the result of such a course of action would have carried with it the danger that the loyal angels - or/and humans - would have been motivated to serve God out of fear rather than being motivated purely by love. Yes, much suffering - including the suffering of Jesus - could have been avoided by God being arbitrary. But if one of Satan’s accusations was that God was arbitrary, God couldn’t demonstrate his love by being arbitrary. The “battle” over Job can be understood as another battle in the conflict that started in heaven. According to Don Stewart* “The King James translators were very familiar with Latin. In fact, the notes they kept during their translation deliberations were made in Latin. When they began their translation process, the Latin Vulgate translation of the Bible had been around a thousand years. Lucifero, the Latin translation of the Hebrew Helel, had already become a proper name for the Devil. Instead of translating the term as ‘day star’ or ‘bright one,’ they kept the popular Latin term ‘Lucifer.’ “ *Don Stewart :: Why Is Satan Sometimes Called Lucifer?

You and your bible scholars are dead wrong. Everything will happen today when I Michael the archangel himself stand up. Whoever is with me is my angels and whoever is against me is the devil and his angels. To be with me you have to Google "seetheevidence" and follow the guidance from The Correction Book which is the Lamb's book of life. You must have this Ezekiel chapter 37 one interpretation of the prophecy only. No other wrong interpretation. Without this interpretation in your brain all of the bad names and bad characters in the plan belongs to you. Only when you put the seal of God which is The Correction Book into your brain 🧠 is when all of the good names in the prophecy belongs to you. This is the only way, the Ezekiel chapter 37 one shepherd.

Stephen, thank you for your interesting commentary. As soon as you said "Scholars", I knew that we were talking about Intellectualism and not Inspirationism from the Holy Spirit. I can see why you have to come to the conclusions you have, but they are not the conclusions the Holy Spirit has given me. Still, your presentation was faith affirming, so again, thank you.

@@StephenJBedardVideos Apologies, should have been more specific with my response. The exorcism of the garasene demoniac obviously occurred prior to the crucifixion. If you posit that the war in heaven broke out during the crucifixion then how do you explain the demonic possession of the garasene? Rev 12.7 states "So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him." Were angels cast out from heaven prior to the war? Did they have free will and leave heaven on the own accord? I really don't know, I'm simply trying to make sense of it. Many thanks.

@@petrospanopoulos8860 I see what you are saying. My view is not that the demons only had access to earth after the cross. If we take the serpent as Satan, then he had access from the beginning. Rather I see the casting out, that is the banishment happening at the cross. We see even in Job that Satan still had access to both heaven and earth at that time.
