Hi Ray my name is Sam and I am a social media volunteer with Life Church. I read your post,, and was very glad to see how positive it was. I am 68, and believe me there have been many times, where I was goal oriented, but could not show perseverance. I would like to know what situation that God is working you through, where you do have to be resilient, faithful goal oriented, and persevere. Thank you for your post. Life Church is here for you 24-7. Please reach out to us. God Bless Sam!

I did not grow up religious whatsoever. However since seeing a life church video in my recommendations I have watched every single video at least twice over the last 2 or so months. This video really shocked me because my current situation aligns almost perfectly with quite a few of the examples used in this sermon. I truly feel like this was somehow a message for me. I have severe anxiety and for the last month contemplated going to a local church but haven’t been able to, until I build up to the courage to I will continue to learn more about God through these videos. Thank you!!

Lord, I lift up @RlNAZ. I thank you for the courage to reach out to someone to talk about their struggles. God, I ask for comfort and strength. I pray that those around them will speak life and truth into them and remind them they is not alone. I ask that you continue to walk with them at this time, giving them the peace and love that comes from you. In your name, Amen -Akua

Thank you God for giving me strength because being a single mother is hard on me. It is only because of God I continue to be able to provide for my children. Both of my sons are special needs. I’m constantly struggling to provide for them and now that I’m home schooling them my hours to work are limited. I’m overwhelmed. Father God give me courage as I struggle to buy groceries, and as I struggle to pay rent. Lord hear my prayers.❤️💕

Thank you for allowing us to pray for you. Father God, we lift up @ChildofGod98765 to You. I ask for your hand in their family. God we may not have all the details but Jesus we know that you know exactly what it is that they need and so I ask that you make a way. We believe and trust in Your timing. Father, please make a way and do what only you can do. Give @ChildofGod98765 the wisdom in their role in this situation. It’s in Jesus name we pray, amen. Bismark.

Ready to Follow Jesus
@life.church5 ай бұрын
Hi Marco. My name is Sam and I am a social media volunteer with Life Church. I saw your post, and there is not really big thing you have to do to follow Jesus. Just surrender yourself, and tell Him so. The Bible says that "call on the name of Jesus, and He will be there!" He is. I am 68 and have had as you can guess, call on Jesus's name MANY times, for my sins, and seeking to follow again. Each time, you "get off the faith highway,at a rest stop (sin), be sure when you get back on the Highway, it is the faith highway and not some other highway that can lead you further away. I am 68 and that has happened a lot. God bless you, now decide to follow Jesus, and "just do it." God bless you, let Life Church know how we can help you. God Bless Sam!😇

Hi! Excellent message! But what about the rest of Matt. 5:13? “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.” (NKJV) Does the second part mean if we stray from God and lose our saltiness, that’s it? Can we never be made salty again? Or is this a comparison between people who are believers and people who aren’t.
@VisionClearly5 ай бұрын
No, it is for the believer. And yes, we can be salty again. The second section, was helping the believer understand that God wants to work through us, but if we are blocking our own productiveness for God...we lose His purpose and He can't utilize us for how He built us.

He does if you know Gods Word He gives us the answer Matthew 9:49-50 Gives us the answer we dont have to guess Matthew 9:49-50 Indeed every one is going to be salted with fire 50 Salt is excellent, but if it loses its saltiness, how will you season it? So have salt in yourselves, that is be at peace with each other Jesus nor any of His disciples taught a salvation prayer those are just words making people believe that is all they have to do to be saves Jesus Himself taught salvation is a action not mere words in Matthew 4:1 7 and Mark 1:15 Jesus taught turning from sins to God is the action of salvation Just like Jesus showed who He was through the works that He did It is actions not simple words

He cares about who we are because he loves us. He knitted us in our mother’s womb, he is not a selfish God. The mindset that says, “God is too good for me, I am not good enough for God” isn’t true. He wants us to give our lives to him because he cares about us. If he didn’t, Jesus wouldn’t have died on the cross. Have a blessed day🤍
