Hutch can do it, but its safer for him to return next Season

Try and keep him off the field if he is capable of sprinting.

I would agree if we were talking about muscle, tendon &/or ligament damage in addition to the broken bone. However according to reporting it was as clean of a break as possible no bone splintering or bone loss which is All the hardware they used was internal so without any external concern for infection his recovery is simply about his bone healing. With a rod inserted the chance of breaking it again is minimal. When His injury return timetable was intially discussed ligament damage & bone loss were part of the analysis. Without the additional factors his recovery is simply about the break healing & conditioning. Also there is less restrictions in terms of load bearing with a break than with other elements being part of the equation. I am sure they have him doing a lot of water workouts to maintain the rest of his conditioning but in a low impact setting so he can slowly ramp up as more healing takes place.

@Js6390c bones heal 8-12 weeks. With high impact athlete maybe want to wait a bit longer. I think the rehab is what keeps him back.

@@Js6390c Folks - both interested parties - Hutch & the Lions - have hundreds of millions of dollars riding on this - they are not going to take . unnecessary risks. Whenever he comes back there is going to have been as much care , risk management done as possible
@Js6390c9 сағат бұрын
@@pjpredhomme7699 You are 100% correct my point simply is if the risk is the normal amount anyone who steps on a football faces and his medical team (not the team's) says he is good to go I think he will if we are talking NFC Championship or Superbowl. That is a lot what ifs but with his dad being a doctor I dont think he will take any risk that could cost him his future and he absolutely shouldn't take any unnecessary risk.

They know damn well Dan will not let that boy play this season.

I’m thinking same thing. He may let him on the field. Who knows how long it will be before he gets another chance to play in a super bowl. Not saying he’ll get more than a snap or 2.

He wouldn’t have said it though. He woulda said hutch is out completely

Right. We saw what happened. It was Theismann bad. I'd be impressed if he played at 100% at some point late next year.

lol its a barbershop. its easier to sweep hair using the wind versus actually sweeping the hair with the bristles on the broom. also dont get all the hair stuck in the broom that way.

A slow recovery is a good recovery. Don't rush it Hutch. See you when we go to repeat.

I understand the excitement, but please for the love of God, do not let him play in the Super Bowl. That kid's future is worth more than a trophy.

Any info on why Ausar Thompson is still not playing due to “blood clots”? Actual specific diagnosis… no treatment options?
@earlunderwoodjr.67664 минут бұрын
The chance that Hutchinson will play after a 4 month absence, is too risky. The normal amount of time to heal completely, after such an injury, would be 8 months. This would be in time for 2025 training camp, and there would be no issues concerning the injury.

Ok so if doc says pk and Hutch says ok, he should definitely play in the Superbowl. May be his only chance. We're talking about what could be a once in a lifetime experience.
@roberthanson23Сағат бұрын
I am sick of disgusting click bait posts, so I will call it every time. The thumb nail says He will be back in less than 4 months." But when doc brought up the topic, he says it will be hard to come back in 4 months. I am sad WS would go to this level.
