Couldn’t agree more! There is so much pressure being put on people who can carry a tune or play an instrument to use their “God given talent” but their heart is sick. I feel like they just want spot fillers and not leaders or ministers.

Thank you for this! I’ve listened to and played a lot of your music in my years on my worship teams and really have enjoyed it! I am going through what I feel is the hardest season of my life, the last year and a half have been very hard and learning to trust God like I need to has been really difficult, I know He’s in control but am really struggling to keep it my focus because of my circumstances. I know it won’t last forever but I don’t feel like I see anything good right now either…I’m trying to stay positive but it’s been so hard…I know someday I will have my time though so I want to thank you for helping me try to refocus!

I love how you made your daughter's question into a teaching moment. So affirming. I agree with your thoughts on young worship leaders. They often aren't mature enough to handle the pressure that comes. They're very vulnerable to abuse.

Most of us live an ordinary life with work and kids and all that, and you are just as called just were you are. Dont be afraid, dont over think this *calling" think. Yes!! This is so good! Young worship leaders need a pastor. So needed!! Yet so neglected. So often young ones are taken advantage of as a cheap hire with talent because they’re young and eager to step into their call but it ends up hurting them early on because there is no discipleship or mentoring.

We all need someone who feeds into us and someone we can feed into. It's so important to the body of Christ. That is the reason we are called brothers n sisters. We are a family. United.
