When will Mumbo Jumbo return to Hermitcraft? - Where did he go?
In this Minecraft Video, I go through Mumbo Jumbo’s history of absences, what he’s been doing, and theorize on when he’ll return to Hermitcraft! Will he reunite with Grian in some shenanigans? sometimes I feel like too much is happening on Hermitcraft. all people are uploading videos at their own pace, meaning when Mumbo is at part 6, Grian could as well be at part 138. I thnk Hermitcraft is a confusing mess sometimes. I know that I am probably overreacting and overexaggerating right now, but I can imagine this being very off-putting towards newcomers, especially since not all hermits are taking part in all events, most things are happening in the background if you're following just one series, and I think that's one of the biggest weaknesses of Hermitcraft. Same problem as the arrowverse, but the crossovers in the arrowverse are at least clearly labeled.

Yeah, I feel like this season has been kinda on and off for a lot of the hermits. There’s periods in time where a lot of stuff is going on, and then all of a sudden some of the most popular hermits take a long break. And then there’s some hermits like Mumbo and Iskall who are more inactive than active. It seems like this Season might be the time where the hermits are getting a bit tired again, like Season 5. But maybe in Season 10 they’ll be more refreshed again

Hoping he doesn’t return at all at least for season 9 hermitcraft in general needs a revamp one thing I miss about old hermitcraft is the dedication it felt like hermitcraft meant something now new hermits join and basically make 3 vids a leave for a new series it’s happening a lot Iskall stress wells false all on vault hunters Hypno modded Tango scar zed keralis bdubs create Gem false empire’s I’m not saying hermits must only put hermitcraft videos take impulse for example so many vids and streams but he doesn’t take hermitcraft for granted it’s his main series but still doses the jits stuff skyblock with his bud skizz we just don’t get that with hermits as much the people above most have take nearly 6 month breaks without putting out vids ignoring the create guys but it’s slowly taking over there channels hermitcraft doesn’t have the flash it used to when we can’t be sure if they will put out vids or interact a lot simple fix bring skizz in full time if the standards of video output are as low as they are that etho hypno iskall stress most of the people I listed above can be on skizz can to I’ve watch impulse a lot and he tends to say skizz will need to put out vids more and have a little more time

Yeah I think Mumbo would have a better start for Season 10, but it’s really up to him if he can handle season 9. I don’t expect him to work on any huge projects, probably just minor things like shenanigans or random blobs of creativity. He might not even continue on his megabase, but we’ll see. I definitely noticed the large activity absences from the hermits but this isnt the first time it’s happened, I mean there was also Season 5. I think we just have to wait it out and maybe in the future another spark might happen like Season 6

One thing I will say too. As wholesome as the hermitcraft community can be, there is a lot of toxicity aswell! If hermits don't upload they get attacked by people and that isn't right. Hermits create a product that they give to youtube to act as the supplier/distributor without a product demand contract. KZbinrs owe us nothing... they work for themselves, if at any point they stop producing a product well sucks for the people who like that product. If the grocery store stopped supplying your favorite cereal you arent going to go to the manufacturer and give them death threats, so why do you do it to youtubers?... They are people, they owe us nothing, we don't pay anything for their product, it is completely free, they are not your friend, you dont know them, they are just another person like you or me, and you should treat them as such! If the community was 100% supportive they would feel more motivated to come back, but the community literally pushes them away.

Well... he skipped half of H8 and all H9 season. So yeah, at this point it's save to say - yes, he quit Hermitcraft. I don't think it's a good time to come back in general since Hermitcraft 9 is pretty much done and no-one is really making any consistent videos. IF he re-surfaces it will be H10 if it's ever gonna happen. Also... loving the Terraria background music LOL

He left his audience without a word and they are kinda forgetting him. Just like Scar, who almost forgot his name. I think he needs to return immediately or there will be no one left for him to care for. He must not let his viewers down, because they are the ones who brought him up in that pedestal thru the great Minecraft, that he presently is taking for granted. I personally am a fan of him since 1.7 (the version I started playing MC), but I'm beginning to think that he doesn't care of "us" anymore...

I think I’m gonna have to disagree. Mumbo left because he started losing interest, but he never lost interest in his audience or creativity. He just needed a long break while he refreshes his mindset on Minecraft, which he did. He made many announcements on his absence and why he left, and he didn’t completely ghost us either. To me, the fan base seems to be actually pretty patient about Mumbo’s absence. I’ve even heard people say “i think he should be gone longer for his health” lmao. But there’s no bad blood between Mumbo and the fanbase
