The question of whether or not Berserk should have continued is a question that, unfortunately, can never be answered. The only person who could have answered it was Miura and, honestly, I can see his answer going either way. On one hand Miura was very particular when it came to Berserk, very hands on, and I could see him not wanting Berserk to be made by anyone other than him. On the other hand, Miura absolutely loved Berserk and I’m sure he, more than anyone else, wanted the story to be told in full and not be left with loose ends. It’s sorta the argument of Miura the artist vs Miura the writer, the one who wants Berserk to be told his exact way versus the one who wants Berserk to be told in full. It’s hard to say without asking him outright, so now it really boils down to subjectivity. Side Note: It’s probably not fair to compare panels and drawings from way back in the Golden Age Arc to what Studio Gaga is doing now. Any mangaka’s artstyle will change and evolve after a long enough time and Miura was no different. So it’s not fair to compare that artstyle when Studio Gaga is likely trying to replicate Miura’s modern artstyle instead of his older one.

I agree, I don’t like comparing the art styles as they are both great in their own ways, and I don’t feel the quality has decreased at all. I love them both and I’m just happy to see it continue, I just think they need to improve the release schedule :)

If Miura bestfriend, said he be angry that his friend didn’t finish the Manga….then that’s how Miura would have wanted it. Considering that they knew each other for such a long time. I wouldn’t doubt that Miura would have probably talked about possible scenarios, events, and how he would have liked the story to end theoretically for many years. However, the fact his friend has a good idea on where things would have led to, it maintains the originality of on how things would have turned out for the most part. So the essence of originality to the story will remain there. I’d say finish the Manga.

I have a small idea and a lot could branch off because of it. The sword of actuation is the key to killing the god hand in my opinion. I think it could cut the flow of od connected to guts and casca’s brands. After this happens he can actually harm Griffith. He can also you the rift to rescue casca.

It's gonna be fine, just find something else until there's a good chunk of new chapters. I think i've started reading the manga in 2006/2007 up to 270ish chapters. So there was almost another 100 chapters released in 14 years. Mori stating it will take around 10 years to finish it sounds reasonable. He only has to finish it, not expand on it. 70 chapters to get to the finish line sounds good to me.
