This is like asking; "does a tree falling in the forest make a sound if no ear is there to hear it?" That is arguably determined by the definition of sound being used. Thus, if the definition of "time" being used does not require something to record it, Time itself can never end.

The answer to the question "when will time end" is easy. Time is merely a measurement by which intelligent life measures it. If you can even say the "when" part to the question, that in itself is putting a time marker on when time ended, so it really didn't end. Since time is merely a measurement, it ends when there is no one left to measure it.
@trueflamexp72974 жыл бұрын
It’s about time someone answered this.
@_harrysingh4 жыл бұрын
Its been a while but I feel the need to clarify. Time in *Physics* is a "Physical" quantity. It doesn't end when you or the humans die.
@MrSnivelupagus4 жыл бұрын
@@_harrysingh I believe that is why there is physics, then there is reality. Physics has it's use, and one must understand the benefits of it. Simply put, everybody is subject to physics. An infant learns that he/she cant run through the door w/o opening it. Yet a much heavier, and much larger physical thing (our atmosphere), the infant runs right through and doesn't even realize it's there. Both are made from physical stuff, and can be included in "physics". Quantum physics is starting to tell us the irrelevance of time in some areas I have researched about it. It is throwing a little wrench in the barrel about light speed, and that we know something is not limited by it. Time doesn't have physical properties, yet even a dog observes it, as it is reality. Of course if all life dies, Earth will still rotate at the same speed and orbit the sun at the same speed. These objects will cease to exist eventually. They don't know or care when, nor do they count each time they rotate or orbit one another and name the activity "time" . Yes the tree still makes a sound if no one hears it fall, but we didn't make the tree, or the air that carries the sound of the tree falling. We literally counted rotations and orbits, and made them measurements calling it time. It's hilarious to me every time I see quantum physicists short circuit their brains every time their research leads them to things they refuse to understand. Time is for the flesh. Things that decay. I believe that there is a state of being, or existence that does not observe time, nor is subject to it. A particle in our galaxy, effects it's co particle in Andromeda instantly, and the quantum physicists wont allow themselves to ponder the supernatural question that is staring them straight in the face. They seem to abruptly stop there. In most cases even mentioning the supernatural with the "we just dont know" ending. So I request physics please don't steal time, lol. It's not yours, and it's not a thing. It's only an observation when we set the parameters of what to use to measure it.

When Allah re create all the humans, those who have done good things in their life will go to heaven(everywhere in universe no death no pain no time no disease) those who have done bad things in their life will go to hell very bad place for the bad people their is punishment of fire pain and pain and pain no death. Abdul Salam God is timeless as time is finite thing and God is infinite. To heaven time exist but not like on earth. In the fullness of time all will return to God as in closed loop nothing is lost or gained it just changes form. In the fullness of time everyone will return God. On that moment all finite existence stops and again all will reunite with God..

Time (for us) will end when the sun finally exhausts its vast reservoir of hydrogen fuel and then, over a time span of millions of years, slowly fades away into oblivion. Even then, my ex will still demand her alimony checks.
@DougPoker3 жыл бұрын
Our sun will expand into a red giant once it exhausts its hydrogen supply. It'll begin fusing heavier elements until nothing is left, at which point it will either go supernova or it will collapse into a neutron star or white dwarf. A couple trillion years from now our Sun could still be around as a black dwarf. It'll never fade away.

What frustrates me the most is when professional scientists repeatedly address the big bang as being the beginning of the Universe, as if time had to have started then, when the truth is, just like the singularities in black holes, they have NO IDEA how it really works. Scientists will definitely admit when they somewhat don't understand something, like in biology, but when they really have no clue and likely won't for a very long time, like dark matter and the cause of the big bang, it seems as if they pretend they know, even though the equations clearly break down. Stephen Hawking does this, acting like it's a common fact that time began at the big bang, when it's nothing more than an extrapolation. Many scientists make other assumptions, like no more structure exists smaller than Planck length, as if we've gone through molecules, atoms, protons/neutrons, quarks and possibly strings and JUST NOW the Universe is done wowing us. Despite the fact that there could be undiscovered structure a million, quadrillion or googol times smaller. Yet somehow these scientists seem open to EVERYTHING ELSE. Sorry, just my opinion.
@wolfgodakira59210 жыл бұрын
i very much agree with you.
@disinfect77710 жыл бұрын
Scientists could say "as far as we can tell" or "what current theories suggests" before every sentence they make, but it would be redundant, we should already know that. No real scientist will ever assume anything to be absolutely true or final.
@ronaldderooij177410 жыл бұрын
I agree. However, what more can there be than induction, deduction and extrapolation? We are nog Gods, we are only humans. By the way, the Planck length is not only an assumption. It is a bit stronger than that. But still, it is a deduction. That is true.

I believe time is eternal but it is only apparent and measurable when there is a universe, distance and speed is required to determine time no? a big bang is a good theory because dark matter is making it expand, black holes are sucking galaxies and eventually there will be no gravity or suns, maybe the universe will begin its cycle again through some phenomenom we're never going to be able to predict due to other dimensions playing a big role? just speculation

Here on earth, I have proven time is the electron neutrino pressure as stars deeper in the galaxy consume this particle, producing new larger particles from it which flow outbound against there inbound flow. This flow opposition forms a 3 phase resonant DeBroglie kinetic system among 3 families of particles branching out of a 3 armed spiral based on the imploding exploding fano plane as described by HSM Coxeter in his book on projective geometry. I have the mathematical and practical formula solution for unification. There was no big bang in this infinite universe and black holes do not exist, just funnels made by stars and or groups of stars such as a bar galaxy we live in.

@b1blancer14 жыл бұрын
Actually, it is not. Time is a real, physical property. Einstein showed that, in his theory of special relativity, that time slows down the faster you go. It tends to go faster when you're not in the presence of a strong source of gravity, like a planet. These differences in the rate of the passage of time must actually be compensated for in GPS satellites, which depend upon the ultra-precise measurement of time. Space and time are inextricable woven together. In fact, it's often referred to in a single word, spacetime. You can't have one without the other.
