Man, I used to struggle so badly trying to grind out Gold each season. I just happened upon a Neace video years ago that essentially said: pick one champ, learn one strategy, and stick to it until you know it inside and out. And let me tell you, it opened my eyes to how easy Gold can be, but players get caught in quagmire of playing 20 champs in 3 roles and never really get in enough of a groove to just grind it out

Great coaching, really enjoyed it. The same is true of Ahri, Ekko, Mid Taliyah, and Vex; it really is just as easy as getting your Lost Chapter (or Seal + Hex Alternator for Ekko) and getting into a pattern of shoving to unlock timers you can use to invade or gank. All of these champions have more kill potential than Malzahar, particularly at their Level 2 or 3 spike, and while you DO want to look for quick trades around your Electrocute, that often baits players into thinking their identity is to stay in mid and fight for 20 minutes. That's a trap. Killing the other laner is an option, not their identity. Interaction is completely unnecessary, you want to fix your mana issues with Lost Chapter (again, in Ekko's case it's just an AP threshold, he is slightly overpowered) and then start deleting waves and using the time until the next minion wave shows up to impact the rest of the map. These champions are incredibly strong in solo queue because you do not have to coinflip on your teammates, you can lower the difficulty of the game for them simply because your lane opponent can't kill you, and they're losing the race to kill minions against you. Just like NEACE talks about jungle being a race to clear camps effectively, that mid lane recommendation video he put out awhile ago is based on this playstyle of racing against your opponent to clear waves effectively, transition into a roam/invade, and cleanly get back to lane in time to receive the next wave. I actually like Blue Crystal + Refill with Future's Market and Time Warp on these champions, because when he backs at 4:16 he can get Lost Chapter already, at the expense of losing a Riven Q worth of health and a little bit of AP.

Idk about that. Early game you shouldn't pop w under tower when you're pushing because your tower hits your voidlings and you WANT it to hit your minions and deny farm and exp to your enemy, otherwise you're just buying them time.

@@NEACE Patch 12.21 E executes minions (25-55) scaling from levels 1-11. Malz is weakest early game because of RNG farming right now but will guarantee consistent early game farming. Malz should W while hitting tower to take it faster, specifically sending them out fully stacked (with Q) once the tower hits canon minion (the voidlings have priority for taking tower shots).

It depends. i sometimes will use Q to do damage on the minions prior to the E passing to them. I know my voidlings will take out the E minions so its not really a issue. This will help the dot burn through those quicker to pass to a enemy champ

Half way through... I wish there was a bit more urgency on stacking w and dropping max creeps into the turrets when you're attacking them. If a cannon is focused those little bastards get to chomp away at towers forever before being targeted. It also prolongs the lifespan of the current wave under turret making it easy to get the next wave under as well. Depending on the situation you can very quickly take 3-4 plates using max w stack creeps to dish out the damage.

Malz tips would be E Q W 1shots the wave, can use W for towers if you got cannon wave, the W crabs will die b4 cannon will, but they do shitload of dmg.

Tip: you wait until the tower targets the cannon (it will target it the cannon after killing the first minion), then you press w which keeps the crabs alive for the entire duration of the cannon.

Theres nuance to this. If the player dies solo then yes its his fault. If your laner goes to his lane and he dies, then thats your fault. The weird thing about flame is that sometimes its justified and majority of people dont know how bad they really are or how bad what they are doing really is. People think sitting under your tower and letting your laner roam and kill your bot and top lane is fine, which it 100% not.

For those who dont know. tethoring is the concept of backing just outside of auto range on ranged champions and moving just to auto range so you can auto before thrm so you start the trade hitting them first before they do. mainly used to hit their champ when they goto last hit so you get free auto trades. on mages includes using abilities instead of autos with adc but you get the idea.

The frustrating part is I play like this coach teaches already before watching these. My lane is usually the last to fall. But i cant get out of bronze because i just cant get a steady flow of teams that can do decent. Its always lose bot and they ff at 15 and im sitting there frustrating being the only one with kills. one critic. "your useless with out ult" in the team fight. I disagree with that remark. while teleporting top is a good play. you are not useless in a team fight. Your dot does good damage if your built well and your silence will stop them from using abilities to your team. You do have value in a team fight just try to stay at range and not face to face. not to mention eventually that R cooldown drops significantly

@@sharbelzoghbi1638 So im gonna take a guess on this but if i had to wager it was to not overload his mental stack. Outside of comfort or habbit the brain can only process so much. Before the 12 mark he had already shown some difficulty juggling efficient pushing and tethering. Malz is a champ that can effectively play a style that dosent engage too much with the opponents so he more then likely wanted him to focus on 1. Avoiding damage 2.Getting smooth pushes when available 3. Unlocking roam times to make map presence Would hitting her be the worst choice? No probably not, but thats resources he could have spent on the wave. Once he gets better at the foundational wave control and spacing then he can start peppering in a little harass, but for the sake of this session prioritizing one concept till he for sure gets it is just a better lesson plan.

forcing opponent laners especially melees to stand closer to their minions as u dont focus to fully hut their champs unlsess back by tower or ganks when they already infected their own creeps can be directed to die so the last or closest to them dies and transfer.. So his peel is a lot of transfer dmg.. super weird way to fight.. whick i both love and have ..since it super 1vs 3 with rotations, towers or just som dmg... But dunno if it would be more seen as self travel dmg (also voidlings also have attack dmg still) would it be seen as travling dmg or transfer dmg.. since it moves with some weird pulse dmg ... so dmg aint constant as i see it.. Also if succed perfectly only get 2 cs with infect auto 3rd or it making it super hard early games get cs since the own minion waves aim at shift targets as they biting .. and also gets more rapid as it progress,,,(as they get more angry or they get more hungry .. think they kind of yamn in beginning unless have 2 infect on same target they may run amokk.. yorrick +malz i wonder would be fun or joke thi.. since they are auto based one by one as voidlings can be 1 hitted by a third of the champs in the game... And i consider the voidlings being charged in right directions until mana and able to kite backwards...
