there is this old joke in Romanian, about the bread always falling down with the buttered side on the floor. I'm gonna paraphrase it a little, to make it English friendly: Ion (that Ro for "John", your standard Romanian male) gets a nice piece of bread and spread some lard on it, but clumsy as he is, he drops it... and lo and behold, it falls with the spread side up. Ion is astonished, this is unnatural. He runs and gets the village priest, but the priest is stumped too, he has no explanation for smth like this. They get the village mayor, maybe he knows things, after all, he's been all the way to the next town over once. But the village mayor can't explain this either. They decide to call in the heavy guns, they call the village elder. Super old and wise. He comes, stares at the piece of bread for soooo long. Villagers gather round, hours pass, everyone is anxious, confused, what de frigg happened here? Finally the elder speaks "Ion ... the piece of bread fell correctly. You just spread the lard on the wrong side". Personal note: if you are ever in eastern europe, get some pig lard and a nice piece of toast, spread that lard thicc and eat it with some garlic. it's heaven

@@biquettier Try a 10k WTR day with 0% winrate in 12 games. All 3-15 losses in under 5 minutes. The matchmaker sure isn't rigged... I definitely trust WarGaming and their practices kapp. Basically all those games were lost from the very beginning. Kind advice for everyone out there: please don't play this game during weekends. Save yourself some neurons, 'cause it's disgusting what is out there.

Play to win - Interesting concept. More and more, I ve had games ending in a draw because the last few players (especially camping TD's) are just happy to sit back and let the timer run out. Eg yesterday, the enemy had 3 near full strength TD's that were defending their cap just sit there, whilst all we had left was 1 damaged arty.

Wheeled vehicle drivers would tell you that it's definitely your fault for bouncing, 'cause "yOu ShOoT ThE wHEeLs AnD thErEforE miSs tHe hiTBoX oF tHe hULL". I call that bullshit, as a lot of the shots I reviewed post game were hitting the hull and were still 0-damage critical hits. Also, given the disgusting RNG in this game, no matter how high you aim your shots, when you aim at a vehicle moving at 90kph speed, it's really 50% luck whether you'll hit what you intended to anyway. Most of the times, the shots simply dip into the wheels or ground beneath and gg wp. So yeah, wheelies are disgusting (for tens of reasons, not just this one) and everyone telling you the "200IQ" advice of not shooting at the wheels is mentally disabled. As if people would SPECIFICALLY shoot only for the wheels and needed this advice... This is coming from someone that has even 60% winrates on some of his tier 10 light tanks and played the wheelies as well. Wheelies made most of the high-tiered tracked light tanks irrelevant sadly.

I don't know, QB, but I think we all complain about 15:3 matches and how MM sucks and so on and so forth, but what I often see is that, as soon as we get an even match, people panic and cap. If new, unexperienced players learn to cap they will never learn to play and progress. We should think about it a bit...

Let's not forget about how people throw games that last longer than the 4-minute games they got used to... It's like they can't stand the longer games, as soon as the score is ONLY 3-3 at 11 min mark, dying time! They just play aimlessly and throw away their tank to go to the next game... Making even the balanced games be shorter than they could be. I don't like what this game has become...

I'm curious about something if anyone has noticed an insane amount of ricocheting off of the bat chat 25 when I know the armor is thin and shouldn't ricochet. Also I have noticed that the week penetration value of the bat check 25 also seems to be penetrating almost all armor not because it's being aimed at weak spots because it is over penetrating in areas it shouldn't. Just curious if anyone has noticed this?

I managed to convert a number of American friends to Vegemite by being sensible about the introduction and warning them it would taste like the lovely little bits you get in a pan when you fry something like bacon. There is no medal for the number of rounds the enemy has shot in your direction, playing point (other than spotting), or attracting enemy attention to divert it from other places. There is no medal for map awareness or map reading skills either apparently. :P

My stats from when I used to grind it: Type 61 Japan MT 9 battles: 85 winrate: 64.71% DPG: 2314 Avg. spots: 1.22 KPG: 1.47 Hit ratio: 72% Avg EXP: 1000 Ace Tanker WN8: 2835 If you want my advice: the gun behaved amazing from my experience, and I used to play it from range, and when needed to, only exposed my turret (gun mantle bounced a fair amount of shots). If you don't like it, I don't know if you'll like the STB-1. It's not that broken nor OP the way some people present it to be... Or if it was OP, it was so like 2 years ago. Play the Type 61 like a support medium. Yes, Type 61 isn't like a normal medium, and behaves similar to the Leopard PT A (Ofc, Leopard PT A is WAY WAY WAY better). Watch ace tanker gameplay of Type 61 on youtube. That's your best bet. Find initial map positions and then flanking routes depending on how the game develops. I would do that for every tank in the game if I don't get the hang of it.

What does Marmite taste like? Marmite has a very distinctive flavor.
