Fast forward 12 years, I'm living abroad with my wife and two daughters, and she emails me out of the blue with this looooooooong ass email, saying I was her soulmate blah, blah, blah. I stopped reading after the first paragraph. I showed it to my wife and she laughed out loud, because she read the whole thing, and my ex expected me to run back to her after waiting all these years. She suggested I replied with our wedding photo. For me, in all honesty, I just got out of a bad relationship where a girl cheated on me and I just wasn't wanting another one and I started having this thing with a very good friend from highschool. There are many times where i think "what if" when i wasn't wanting to commit to another one right away... There was this girl I was talking to and turns out she was going out on dates with a bunch of others while we talking nothing serious but she told me this and I shut her down because you ain't possibly getting freaky and going on all these dates while talking to me. She like "But you gotta beat the competition, how do I know you are worth my standards" She said this despite also saying I'm like first place right now but not sure for how long like the hell and I gave her an option she is on my team and I be on your team or I'm gone.
