The brother cooking the meal : 1) My advice is to never ever tell her you going to take her to any restaurant and leave it at that. If you do plant on cooking, before you do, tell her that the restaurant is on a certain fixed date and before you do that you plant to cook dinner for her and so on. Check her reaction. 2) I cooked dinner for a girl. Before I did so , I never told her I was taking her to any restaurant. The moment she arrived she asked me why I had cooked all that dinner for her. I told her I wanted to serve her and try to do something more personal and more romantic and very intimate. She told me I should have asked her what she preferred to eat first. She told me I should have thought it was important to know what mattered to her the most for dinner and what things she did not like and what she did love to eat. I said, "You mean I should have presented like a menu and go over options and consult with you about what you wanted to select?" She said , "Yes, something like that" I told her, "Ah, that was totally my bad. I did print out a menu and I went over the things in it, and instead of asking you I selected the items by myself. Let me show it to you. I left it in my car. Walk with me and you can see. " She walked outside with me. Once outside, "I told her: Girl, the street is full of options, go select what you want. But I plan on not choosing you. " I went back inside and left her out there. Never spoke and never seen her again.
