I’m so happy you guys got permission to collab with Veronika. I love watching the cartoons, they’re cute and prefer not to use TikTok, personally. I’d love a playlist of these Veronika ones so I can binge, though! Maybe you guys can make one?

I loved calling the Health Department on managers who insisted if we couldn't cover our shift we needed to come in.

I’m Australian and have worked both in private industry and for the Police here. I have never in my life been asked to find someone to cover a shift, and just another little thing, I have never had to rely on tips to make my wage a liveable one. We pay our staff well and there is a good minimum wage set by our Federal Government. The US needs to start looking after its workers and pay them a decent wage and not expect customers to pay it. That is just a disgrace!! Employers are required to pay their employees a good minimum wage instead of giving them f*ck all and expecting customers to fill the gap that should be paid for by the employer in the first place!!

Why would someone making $70,000 a year with no children need free housing?
@Bookdrogan15 күн бұрын
That’s what I was thinking!!

Depends on where you are. Backwoods Georgia, you can manage a decent one bedroom with an outhouse and actually save a little money. San Francisco, LA, New York, that salary MIGHT get you a broom closet.
@JS-mg1mk15 күн бұрын
@sophierobinson2738 more of your salary will go to rent in those cities but 70k is still plenty to afford an apartment even in those cities. Personally I don't know why anyone would live there to begin with

Unless you live in a rich area, $70,000 should be enough to afford rent or you waste a lot of money. At $37,000 I make to much to qualify. Try to make it at $7.75 a hour and reality really hits. That's less than $15,000 which is just below the US property level. The sad part if they make any overtime most of them would be thrown out of any programs they do qualify for which sucks. Can you imagine telling your boss you cannot take a .25 raise because you will loose your housing because it would put you over the $15,060 which is the current poverty level. Its going to get worse thanks to president musk and first lady trumpo and their Nazis because they have already starting making bills to cut as much as possible from food stamps to the entire VA program. Their goals is to make as a close as possible to a slave country and get us so isolated from our allies that when they attack they think we will shut up and be quiet. Wrong but that is their goal.
