We well know the stories of these guys who's career were cut far short, but just HOW long would they have played in a healthy scenario? When would their primes have actually ended? How would it have affects the stories of players we still watch today?

Those Blazers with Brandon Roy, LaMarcus Aldridge, Nicolas Batum and Greg Oden was an awesome "What If?" team. Aldridge complemented Oden, being the stretch-4 to Oden's paint-dominant big. Batum was the walking 5-by-5, Mr. Do-It-All.

T-Mac would’ve taken the Bron approach in the sense that he wouldn’t rely on driving to the rim as much and he’d rely more on post play. T-Mac being the scorer he was could’ve still been a leader in scoring late into his career. A team built around him, reliable shooters outside and that sounds like a nightmare to defend. Either help off the shooters, or let Tracy work.

I think that age 26 keeps happening cause on average the best players were doing the 1 and done in college mak in ng 26 being either the lastyearof their rookie deal or first of their next contract. From what i remember tbe league used to be "we drafted you early, so you need to carry this team as mucch as you can before we start building around you". And that just ran guys bodies into the ground way yoo fast and caused them to fall of their respective cliffs.

He would've been second, most likely. If we say his performance remained about the same until 2016, so somewhere between 25-27ppg, he'd score around 2000pts per season and if we give him an average of about 75-80 games a season he would've played about 1470+ games. He would've eventually passed Kareem at a faster rate if he kept playing past 2016, but LeBron would still pass him at a faster rate after that.

Greg Oden has been ridiculed by fans when he was hurt and been called a bust its sad because its not his fault he was injury prone, a bust for me is a player that is given all the opportunities but still fails, greg failed because of his injuries so he's not a bust for me. @@benana87 because he said it himself that he disliked basketball and only did it for the bag. So if we think that the best bag he could get was until his late 20s-early 30s with the game that was changing, he would still retire as he wouldn't get that much money anymore
