I'm still fairly new to the game. Hearing that the objectives are more important than kills helps a lot. Meaningless fights in mid with no beacon, pyro, or towers up. I'll definitely make more plays on objectives knowing this.

The COD players are a real problem in smite. I just had a game where we were down 6 to 17 kills at 8 min, but we were up 3k gold. I was crushing in carry and my solo lane was snowballing, but mid and jungle were 0/11 and babyraging. Wouldn't stop trying to surrender and troll despite the side lanes going crazy. Objective play and buff control really is the key.

That sounds like the solo laner I played with the other day. I used our KD as an insult when me and my friends and I only play casual when he was a gold player. lol, I just told him that if it mattered to him so much, then go play ranked. He ended up raging and throwing the game on purpose

7:30 I think like this too, towers are permanent sources of gold, the lowest priority of all the objectives since they don't disappear and they can't be taken away from your team's gold. I hate most of all, when I'm winning a lane and letting towers kill my minions to deny the enemies, when teammates just run in from nowhere and start focussing everything on the tower to kill it fast. There's merit in speedrunning the tower if there's a plan to follow up, but not when you can deny the enemy so much more gold than your team is making, especially if you're a solo laner.

yess i hate when after you make an objective call cause you saw all enemies on ward knew where they were just at then team takes 2 - 3 min. to get there or hesitates then lose objective and blames the call out saying it was bad. but in reality it was them rotating like a snail to objective. in reel time it takes only 15 seconds or less to do an objective depending on builds. so that extra 10 seconds it took you to get to/ start objective is what lost the objective.

This game is legitimately almost every single ranked game I play. My jungle never rotates to me I get camped by enemy jungle my team rarely ever wants to pull objectives. Takes the dumbest fights. I'll have one teammate to afraid to actually play the game and at least one who doesnt know how to teamfight. Dont get me wrong there are games where I've got great teammates and then there are games where I make mistakes too, but not nearly as bad as my teammates do
