To answer some of your questions: Yes, Daniel is playing all of this on a keyboard. Yes, he even points out how realistic the guitar sound is in one of his sketches. The piano is a Yamaha Clavinova CVP-809 (according to google)
@SyxxPunk Жыл бұрын
Looking it up, I'm seeing prices going for $10.5k for that keyboard. For that price, it better sound realistic.

@DyslecticAttack Жыл бұрын
@@Yeroccothey do, but artists who make their living with instruments and plan to get an instrument for years to come will get quality stuff. And since Daniel is a comedic musician on the internet, chances are the more options he has, the better it is. So it's very likely that he isn't just exaggerating to brag, but is instead just being sincere with what it costed for him to get the best he could.
@Yerocco Жыл бұрын
@@DyslecticAttack sounds cool and all. But we don’t know. We can assume it’s modified with 4.5k dollars worth of stuff. Or we can go by what’s presented to us. I’m not discrediting that the set up isn’t a wonderful set up. Just that we can apparently buy the same one for a significant difference in price is suspicious. And given my experience in car dealership for finance, you’ll learn that there’s some people that fluff numbers or just don’t know what they make/pay for stuff.

These are great. Also, before these, there was "How I Accidentally Wrote "The Office" Theme Song", which was his first viral video, and a true story.

Your voice is so smooth. I love listening to it! And I LOVE Daniel's series. He's up to 6 and the "When You Accidentally Write Theme Songs That Already Exist" series is also hilarious.

If you're interested in good ad reads, may I suggest Critical Role's ad reads? Sam Riegal does a different bit for every episode, some of which become mini series that continue everytime that same sponsor appears. They are incredibly funny and I've willingly sat through over two hundred of these ad reads now.

Since it's a digital piano, the guitar is a live sample programmed in there and to do the slides and fretsounds you hit the keys harder or softer :) Iz pretty cool ^^

This is funny because I remember in eighth grade at ninth grade my buddy Kody said guys check this out. I just wrote this sign on the keyboard Pacers playing the song and my buddy Dillon and I look at each other and we look at Kody and then we just start singing “Aerials in the sky When you lose small mind, you free your life Aerials, so up high When you free your eyes, eternal prize Aerials in the sky When you lose small mind, you free your life Aerials, so up high When you free your eyes, eternal prize” And he got so mad 😂

I'd add Tomska to that list as well. He's originally a sketch youtuber, but had to switch when advertisers stopped paying for that and started demanding the standard ad-reads. The last few years he's gotten more recurring sponsors who were okay with getting the ads in sketch form (including some production and set work).
