Anyone else noticed that the eyepatch is completely useless? with how much he's attacking, 10 times per second, and an AD of lets say 15 that's 100 attacks for a proc which is 50 extra damage every 10 seconds. You add 50 damage per 1500 damage. (this does not include crits which would lower that number EVEN MORE) So to rephrase: Even if you're attacking 10 times per second it will probably only do about 100 damage per boss. (which you can do in less than a second at that point)

key thing about this game is to get a good legendary accessory that gives sustain, such as blood goblet or taana. blood goblet gives 2 health every time you crit ith a .5 second cd and taana give a free shield every room.

@@Asiaboy64 no, it's not just for beginners. blood goblet alone can help you hold off the secret boss after enviyrok for a long time. taana's shield can tank at least 2 hits before going down in the black desert, and if you take two hits every room, then that means your saving yourself from about 200 hp or so.

Far from immortal when it comes to DF who does well and suddenly loses half hp in a single room Edit: Not to mention that 2 previous skills are extremely inconsistent in being of literally any use in the whole run. While I can agree that sole defence stat you get from putting points in that tree is good, putting 20 points there to get 2 inconsistent buffs and a buff that simply shouldn't do much as you shouldn't fall to and below 30% hp often is a waste of points. 2nd of all getting so much defence over anything else that could help you clear dangers is also not a very good choice. Some defence can help, but almost only the defence stat is not worth devoting 20 points to it. Something I find much more elastic that serves similar purpose of increasing your survability is 20 points into greed as each point has similar defensive value to what you get in the other scenario however additional accessory slot makes you able to choose between more defence or more damage or anything really on the go (even though 2 previous greed upgrades aren't really of any use either, similarly but I believe it doesn't matter much in this case as more health has priority over more defence from my experience).

Dawid Dzięgielewski Actually, more defense is better than more health. Imagine this - You have 50 hp but you have so much defense that you basically can tank everything. Plus with that health regen buff, you would regen back the hp you lost. With health, well, you can’t regen it, and you can lose so much in such a short amount of time.

@@jacktailssonplays4833 I can imagine but that's just theory impossible in practice. Less health basically means that any flat healing is more useful, however the same goes for defence. The lower your defence stat is, the more your next defence point you'll get is going to help you since defense is a stat that determines how many percent of the incoming attack is being blocked and because its based on % and not flat value it needs a mechanic so it doesn't stack too high which means stacking defense is far worse than stacking health because health stat itself doesn't suffer from being stacked while defense continuously gets worse and worse with each point. It makes healing less effective % and accessories that take away your health % less worth it but that's about it. You still want to get more health despite that fact - defence - absolutely not (after a certain point). Another thing - defence stat is by far more common to be featured in items than health or %health so you will get a decent amount of it this way or another - health tho? - well, you've seen DFs videos, he kept hitting like 130hp max and didn't go much further than that ever as his main hp source was the food which he doesn't even manage too well on a side note.

The easiest way to get the blessing fast as hell is to just buy all the items in the shop and sacrifice them. Since its quite easy to get a surplus of gold.

You can restart a run from the town. You do not need to go into the dungeon to restart a run. You will still keep your item from the lvl 20 mystic save. Trust, it will save you so much more time reroll starts like i did. helps when you want to start with a legendary item and you need the two armor to make the set or when you start with the orbitals sets (planet, asteroid, spikeball, chunk of ice). waste of time but saves time from dying in the dungeon. Even if you get an item of the altar and leave the game from the town, you will keep both the altar item and the mystic saved item.

you realize that evasion scaling is garbo after 40 evasion right? usually you end a run with 50% evasion even if you buy every evasion food and find all the good evasion items, it will only be 60% dodge chance.

Every room gives you less hunger which you can use to advantage , simple . 1 find the lady 2 eat some food before you go 3 when you get hungry enough go back and eat again most of the dungeons are only 2-3 meals so choose wisely another thing: i recommend using the pickaxe master then the cursed sword man

I personally choose a class depending on what legendary weapon I get a hold of from the shrine, Pickaxe master is great for dash damage, but I don't feel like DF ever uses dash weapons, I like them though. My best runs have been with L' Bu's spear and the frozen spear set

You can go to the shrine girl and ask to do an eagis (option below bless) to gain more points, base power and base health but you need to start again at lvl 1. I would also recommend getting the Cosmo sword cause it's ability is the same as the boomerang

ive played this game a bit and the thing that has gotten me far past the peaceful grasslands is the salamanders eye, projectiles are very important (ranged attacks) and when combined with the item that makes projectiles bigger it can really do some damage. (plus its best to stay as far away as possable so one can predict attacks), only downside is the reloading

Wibbels the Tanas wand is basically a better version of the salamanders eye. Projectiles go through walls and do a ton of damage

No, your hunger meter only decreases every NEW room you go into. It's -2 hunger after going into a new room and if there's a battle in the room, it's another -2 hunger after the battle.

My first god run in this game involved the Uzi, a yellow gun, and a blood chalice. Gain 1hp every crit on a gun that vomits bullets. Increase crit rate to 100% and I could tank the world. Also, you should dodge more.
