When you aren't at the Island Sunbeam attempts to land on, THIS happens

I was quite lazy and didn't go to the island, knowing what would happen. Look at that!

I was at the floating island while it happened because i already knew it would explode. I was ontop a mountain when i saw it. It was beautiful!

Well reading the subtitles it's easy to say it's most likely not a creature.

I would like to add that you are able to hear the tower move and shift into its laser shooting mode, even underwater. I was expecting the timer to just reset, but hey, you have to admit this is MUCH cooler than going to the island trying to avoid the reaper whilst parking your seamoth. I almost died to a reaper because I forget I have radioactive suit on and get too close to the aurora whilst finding wreckages. Why do/did you like Subnautica?
