"When I was your age, I had to walk 1000 km, fight in Stalingrad, swim across the Pacific Ocean, climb Mount Everest, both sides, barefoot, with only one foot, while the other foot is fighting 20 hungry tigers, all the way being chased by the mongols, and then, I have to still fight another 20 hungry lions, walk across the Amazons, and get hunted by the local tribe, being almost eaten by alligatpr and anaconda, and then I have to dive in the Grand Canyon to get to school"

LOL So funny! Usually, in Brazil, parents would say something like that: "When I was your age, I had to walk 10 kilometers, cross a river by canoe, and all of that under the scorching sun. I didn’t even have a backpack; we carried our books in a bucket." We truly don't know if this is true, but works every time!
